This vision we are hearing would fit pretty good in Ezekiel's time. The word became flesh and dwelt among men. Jesus (the word made flesh) did much to fulfill prophecy.

The Jewish Pentecost filled them with the new heart and mind. Acts

The Gentile Pentecost / inclusion filled them. Acts

The great falling away might bre more what we are seeing.

We are in the last age.

I think that's a rather ridiculous notion trying to pin adverse spirits, invisible powers and unseen agents as being physical when they are not.

I know we can not see the evil invisible power, but we can literally see the fruits of it.
