So, I'm 24... and as of next month I'll have been completely single for 3 years. yaaaaay :bigfrown

I have been single for a while as well. I have found that I actually like being single. I have grown accustomed to the single life. It helps that there are quite a lot of singles at my Church as well. I would not feel the same way if most of the members in my Church were couples I gather.

I will be 27 in June and been single for over 2 years now. Just have to be patient in the meantime. I would be far better off being single, rather than rushing into something only to come out of it very miserable. Although the singleness bothers me, I would rather deal with that instead of dealing with anything else that can come from not being with the right person.

This is an honest question, because I don't know. What is justifiable for divorce in the Mormon church. I don't know anyone's reasons for doing it, so I'm not commenting on anyone's divorce. Just wondering if you have the same biblical standards that Christians do.

I enjoy being single especially after spending time with people you know you're not supposed to be with. I like doing my own thing without worrying about anyone else. It gets lonely at times but I think being alone helps you know who you really are and what/who you actually want in your life. I think there's too many people who have never been alone and feel that it is a necessity to be with someone. I think it's good to know what life is like being on your own and realize that it's not all that devestating.

QFT

This is sort of what I've thought for a while now, I've just never been able to expain it in words.

Also don't worry Nick, all of those years don't really count for anything. I mean your not expected to date when your a toddler. And most of the dating in highschool isn't really worth anything.

Considering he asked what the standards were for the mormon church, I didn't think he was referring to me... but considering the conversation:

The following article was actually worded quite well.

... as for 7ruth... I don't really understand your response to LaMex... You seem to be overall polite, but you started out with "QFT?" ... which I've always used as a pretty rude acronym :shrug

Oh I'm sorry lol it stands for Quoted For Truth. I said that because I agreed with LaMex.

:rolling Much different than what I was thinking.

... speaking of which... I understand the above "rolling" smiley... why they're rolling... what the heck is that other little wiggly bit supposed to be? I hope that's supposed to be some sort of hand doing something...

... seriously... what is that in the lower left corner:
:rolling

I couldn't stand the feeling of being single, and it got worse and worse as the days went on. I'd hate to be single again.
