A few proofs of the Bible's inspiration

Here are a few remarkable things in the Bible that are too amazing to be coincidence:

1. In Genesis 2:21-23 the Bible records God putting Adam to sleep, cutting out a rib, and from it making a woman. So God performed the first surgery with anesthesia. But what's almost unbelievable is that it records of the first cloning to ever take place. This record was considered to an impossible fairy tale, and only in modern times do we know that it's possible. Coincidence? How about the fact that there is one and only one bone in the body that will grow back (if removed properly) and that bone happens to be a rib. Strange huh? What's even more is that man's chromosome is XY and a woman's is XX; meaning you can clone a woman from a man but not a man from a woman (the Bible was right again.)

2. Luke 17:30-34 The Lord Jesus foretells of his return and says, "in that day..." and then speaking of the same event he says, "in that night..." How could Jesus return in the day and the night? Because the earth is round, day on one side and night on the other (the Bible records that long before man figured it out.) Isaiah 40:22 also speaks of "the circle of the earth".

3. Revelation 13:16-18 foretells of a future time when men will only be able to buy or sell goods three ways: using a "mark" implanted in the hand or forehead, using the name of the beast (anti-christ), or by using the number of his name (666). Anyone not using these means will be locked out of the monetary system. Again, this was thought to be a fairy tale and was impossible until our times. The implant chip? Look up DIGITAL ANGEL, VERICHIP, DIGITAL ANGEL, or any number of contenders looking to be the mark of the beast. What's the name of the beast? All currency has the name of the person pictured on the bill. But how can someone buy or sell using the number of the beast (666)? Well, I'm a little frightened to say that we do that already right here on the internet. Hebrew letters have number values and the Hebrew equivalent for W has a number value of 6. In other words WWW=666. So when we use the World Wide Web are we using the number of the beast? Amazing what can be found in the Bible. How could an uninspired book record such things?

The point is, we can rely on the Bible and trust the author.

yes, with a little and a few hesitations. for one, i would never allow or say that God creating Eve from Adam's rib was anything other than a miracle easy for God to do. to call it cloning inspires in fleshly worldly men because of their use of the term very very unrighteous, unGodly connotations, and a very great wickedness that is being perpetrated today.

also a small addition, or large ---- could be that the 'image' of the beast is the screens of tv and the internet. we ekklesia may be called or forced to forsake it soon if not already (i'm still here, sort of, but not willingly! --- I'm seeking more real and verifiable and true and righteous and real fellowship in person locally, Yhwh permitting, or Yhwh waiting so mercifully for me to see the forest for the trees !! (i.e. the people are here locally, but too poor for a place to live or internet access!!) ) .

Sorry to use the term "cloning" I know it does sound a little off. Just trying to show man attempting artificially what God does naturally. Man's "invention" is nothing more than a sad attempt to imitate God. God even said that if mankind got together they could do anything they could imagine:

Ge 11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

God confounded the language of man and scattered them; man has been trying to bridge the language gap ever since. Only in modern times has mankind come more together and we see what our "imagination" has wrought.

I also frequently wonder if the image of the beast relates to computers, TV, and the Internet. I'm also more than a little worried that we believers are falling asleep and will still be on-line when it's past time to leave (if it's not already too late.) I forsook TV years ago, but somehow ended up with a computer and Internet which has turned into a much more frightening "beast."

As far as TV and internet usage I do not see it as any type of beast as both can be very educational, but yet one needs to filter out that which is not pleasing to the Lord. If I am on-line when the Lord returns then I will be found witnessing and testifying His word with the world as I use the world wide web as an instrument to minister through. TV and internet is no different then walking into a book store and buying books that are not pleasing to the Lord. As a child of God we need to use discretion in all we do and say.

God has already done and said everything He will ever do and say and all is in His timing. Whether man believes it or not what they discover has already been from the beginning of time as there is nothing new under that of Gods heaven.

The name of the beast in Rev 13 are four nations as the son of perdition (man doomed to destruction) will rise in power given to him from Satan to control that of a one world political and religious system and cause those to bow down and worship the image of the beast and if they refuse to bow down they will be tortured, killed or both. We as a true child of God that will endure until the end have nothing to fear as all man can do to us is to kill this fleshly body, but we must respect Him who can cast both soul and body in hell, Matthew 10:28. Son of perdition is not just one single person as we see in John 17:12 and 1Thessalonians 2:3.

Four nations:

Babylonian Empire:
(Iraq) The lion represents the winged lions that guarded the royal places of Babylon.

Medo – Persian Empire:
(Iran) The ribs of the bear are part of the consuming greed that devours the first empire.

Grecian Empire:
(Greece, Turkey, Syria, Egypt) Four wings of the leopard described the swiftness of this empire that ran from 334-331BC. It wrestled world dominion from Medo-Persia. After the death of Alexander the Great the kingdom was divided into four minor kingdoms that continued as prominent factors in world politics until the Roman Empire gathered it back as one kingdom.

Roman Empire:
Iron represents the stronghold this nation had. Daniel chapter 2 mentions the iron element of this empire that it to will be divided and broken as God will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed.
