Simple Story: About 6 months back, My sister while working at the local YMCA found a cellphone, It belong to one of the workers, Lets call him Bad Egg. It was the end of her shift so naturally she was tired. She looked through the phone to see who it belonged to and found picture of naked boys.She returned the phone but neglected to take the pictures for evidence. She informed her higher ups but Bad egg kept his job yet and still. pesent day her job is in serious jeopardy for insubordination! Crap...:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad:mad

doubtful, if she told them she found the phone and tried to find the owner and notice that the pics were there.
 
If her superiors in a YMCA are trying to shelter one of their workers for kiddie porn, what does that say about them?

She should really go to the police. Like really. Handing it back was a mistake. It might even put her in danger if she doesn't. (Let alone the kids going there.)

My prayers for the situation.

They are planning to fire her for insubordination....I told her dhe should've done so....but for looking through the pics...it make the evidence null and void...if word got out the child care part of that YMCA could be shut down...

How can the News help?....

They want to hire me and I don't want to take the job...There is a better opportunity its just further away
 
Word should get it. It's childrens safety (and perhaps even your sisters) at risk. Looking at the pics doesn't make the evidence null and void. Your sister can't prove it now that she's given the phone back. But the police need to be told. That way they can keep an eye on things or at least take note of it to give them more reason to investigate if anything else comes up in the future.

Does your sister really want to work in a place like that? She should be spreading the word. Do you?

Keeping silent over something like this is wrong. It's hiding potential (or even active) criminals. If there's been misunderstanding then that should be put in the hands of the proper authorities to figure out.

"Sir, do you have proof?"

"Why yes I do. I also have evidence to show that they are trying to hide this fact by firing the employee who is trying to bring the perv. up."

"Sir, can we have your number? We would love to help you expose this terrible act."

You can see where it goes from there. Corporate gets a hold of it. You sister becomes a hero and the perv and anyone hiding him loses their job!

She doesn't have the pics anymore...but even in front of everyone he's allowed to let the boys sit on his lap...one twin on each:nono2:nono2

Oats, you need to encourage her to go to the police or call a local news paper. I know that it is hard to do the right thing, but we are Christians and doing the right thing is hardly ever easy. <o:p></o:p>
These children’s safety is priority. They matter to Jesus, so they have to matter to us.<o:p></o:p>

This really has nothing to do with your sister's job. This has to do with a crime against children.

Have your sister call the police NOW and make a report. The phone company can recall any photos from that phone. I know this to be a fact because a 21 year old coaxed my best friend's 14 year old daughter to send nude pictures of herself to him. Months after the fact, her daughter confessed and even though the photos were long deleted, the police and the phone company were able to retrieve not only the pictures, but the sex texts as well. All were used as evidence in the trial.

The police can confiscate the phone and take it from there.

Please urge your sister to make the report. There are children being harmed by this. I was a victim of child sexual abuse myself, I can say that there is life-long harm from this kind of abuse. The longer your sister waits to contact the police, the more the kids might be harmed.
 
I wouldn't care if they fired me and my whole family. The children are what matter here. I'm so sick of molesters and kiddy pervs having slaps on the wrist it just sends me through the roof!!

Do the right thing despite the consequences. Expose thid 'bad egg' NOW, not now, RIGHT NOW!

Last week a 3yr old was raped in the bathroom at walmart here. They caught the guy and found out he is a level 3 sex pffender out for the THIRD time around for the same despicable acts.

Last month a level 4 sex offender tried to kidnap a 13yr old kid at a mcdonalds parking lot. The kid got away and they caught the guy a week later.

What good did it do that both of these guys had been caught before? What good did it do that they were registered sex offenders? None to that 3yr old. A 3 YR OLD!!! (where's those smilies?? I need one that expresses rage!!)

The least you can do is MAKE SURE that this pervert isn't employed working with kids.

Lets all pray that these people are brought to justice and kids don't suffer like this because of our lack of actions.

I'll let her know...I work as a janitor there...my sis has direct contact with the kids....Funny thing is she says all the kids love him
 
It doesn't surprise me that the kids seem to love him. Pedophiles are excellent at fostering a loving relationship with kids, often with compliments and bribes. The pedophile trades on the innate trust kids have in adults who are loving towards them. So, even though there are bells and whistles going off in the child's head during the abuse (and believe me, there are) the child has a tendency to think, "Well, if he wants me to do it, it must be OK, even if I don't like it."
 
Pedophiles are not able to be rehabilitated. They are very cunning, and tend to seek out positions that deal with children. Your sister made a mistake in giving the phone back, but I would bet if the pedophile in question felt confident enough that he has child porn on his personal phone that he also has child porn on his work, and personal computer. He has left a disgusting trail of sickness all over the place. Point the right people in his direction and he will be caught.
