this is probably going to get closed or erased but it is going to be the truth.

the word of god states that if we are engaging in fornication, adultery, idolitary , homosexual acts and do not repent we are not going to heaven. this is a fact not a judgment or a condemnation. all i am stating is if we are committing these acts then we need to repent.
 
your right destiny. the sad thing is though is how far from the truth does this take us. how many people are hearing the real truth. this is sad.
 
The Church has become mixed with the world so much that you can’t tell the difference any more between the Church and the world. In the Book of James Jas 4:4 it says (You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.)
So has the Church become an enemy with God. I would say that the Church who tries to look like the world and play the music of the world and acts just Like the world does most certainly has become an enemy with God. God will spit this kind of Church out of His mouth. He is looking for a Church that is with out Spot or blemish. Not a sinful worldly Church. Jesus warned the Church in the Book of revelation about this. He said if you do not repent, I will come and take the lamp stand out of it’s place. Revelation 2:5. meaning He will take his Spirit out of the Church leaving it a dead Church. I do believe that this is a picture of what will happen to us if we as Christians choose to disobey Him again and again and are unwilling to repent. He will take His Holy Spirit out of our hearts, and give us over to the sin that we have chose over His Love. We can’t be saved today and lost tomorrow, but over time if we do not repent we will loose the Spirit Of God. That is why the Bible tells us to not grieve the Holy Spirit. If any one choosees sin over Jesus, even though they were once saved born again believers, God will count the righteousness that they have done against them. He will not remember the righteous things they had done, and they will be once again in danger of the Fires of Hell. One sertainly can loose salvation after attaining it. Sin separates us from God, because God has a Zero tolerance for sin.

Eze 18:24 (“But if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked man does, will he live? None of the righteous things he has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness he is guilty of and because of the sins he has committed, he will die.)

I happen to know of a pastor (and this story is too often familiar) who had an affair with another married woman. When the church found out, they asked him to leave because they did not want him leading them. He left, but could not understand why they asked him to. He still doesn't think that he did anything wrong. He has no remorse.

you are absolutely correct. the truth is not spoken and people in or out of church are the exact some in 90% of the case. i hate to say it but the sad truth is we can blame the people all we want. the real truth lies in the word of god. to many churches refuse to speak out about christ and sin and that sin causes death. church has become business mor than truth.

the first thing i think we need to let people know is that the roman catholic church was not the first church and the start of it was not even through the authority of jesus christ. nor was it built upon him. this is the mother of all denominations that have come about. but there is nothing in the word of god that states anything about denominations. the word of god talks about the body of christ as the church nothing else.

but either way we need to start telling the truth. even if it means to speak inside the churches and get kicked out of many. jesus warned us of all this happening.
 
Thank you Chris Overy, When we speak the truth about God and use Scripture to back it up and a Church expels us and tells us that we are not welcome there anymore, you can be sure that they will not let Jesus in either. They would say to our Precious Jesus whom I love, ( Sorry Jesus, but all our members are on dope and love sin to much for your holy presence. We think you would just get in the way of our fun. You are not welcome.) this is the attitude of many Churches even though they would never admit it. And then The Lord would say back to them,( That is OK, I will not force you to accept me, you will remain a dead church and I will spit you out of my mouth, depart from me, I never new you.
 
yes you are right, it is sad the attitudes and the way they lie to themselves. however i do not want to be misunderstood either. we should allow all into the church. but we should speak out what the holy spirit has for us to speak and never deny it from the people of the church because we are afraid they might leave and we will no longer have their tithe coming in. church is not a business nor is it a festival for the devils handy work.

nor is it built up on what we want with it. have you ever heard the statement lets go minister to people and you get all excited. your whole attitude is o yes lets start to minister to the lost and ask the lord to use us to save souls. so they get a whole bunch of people from the church to go out to minister to people and when you get out there all they talk about is the great programs of their church denomination, organization, or congregation. noting about how jesus saves and they share testimonies of him with these people. o no that might offend them.

i heard a man speak out one time that if we are offended of our own sins from hearing the gospel then we are one step closer to what the lord truly has for us. that first offense that is given to someone by us speaking the truth could be the first offense that the lord uses to get their hearts. this is not about us or how good we look it is about jesus christ and our want being the same as his, that all souls will come to him.
 
S.B.T.S.O.Y.T. This is a doctrine of devils! all the while I lived backsliding into hell I remembered what I'd heard so many say before. "Thank your lucky stars you'll be saved by the skin of your teeth"

You must be young, saved by the skin of your teeth has been around for a very long time, the frightening thing is a lot of people believe it. :sad
 
i am not really young i have heard that before. i thought that your statement was toward something that i wrote in the post before. i am glad that i asked though.

there are many lies of the devil around especially in the churches. this is the # 1 thing that bpthers me.
 
this occurs in church as it prophecied that it would,

people have itching ears for that ole lust they wanna keep.

I believe you are absolutely right, but most people just go along with the church or organization that THEY get the most out of. If it's entertaining, it's good, if it's fun and a feel good atmosphere, it's good. If it convicts you of your sin and speaks the harsh truth, go elsewhere. :lol

I only attend churches that believe the Full Gospel.
 
that is very true. there is a whole lot of that going on. the sad thing about that is when you try to show them the truth they accuse you of judging them and throw the verses about do not jusdge at you.
 
When one looks at the Bible as a self-help book, only taking out of it what seems relevant and ignoring the rest, false teachings become rampant in Churches and people believe they are sinless. The Bible has to be veiwed as the word of GOD, the HOLY WORD OF GOD, The authoritive WORD OF GOD. When the Bible is veiwed this way then there can be no misunderstanding as to what is acceptable and what is not.
