Accepting Of Me

I'm not doing that anymore. I used to. But since I came here I am learning that it's wrong to do that. And other things too.

Here's what I have set as two main rules for myself when here:

Don't be a moderator type
Don't post in Joel Osteen threads.

I want you guys to feel like we can be friends here without hate and discontent.

uh yeah. I have learned that is better, though I must practice this too, that reading my bible for what it says is better then looking for a position to win an argument

I enjoyed nice people in the tread, and in the forum too.

I love all people who's hearts are seeking our Holly Father, in a sincere way.

This world has nothing to offer, and is a dangerous place with many traps. I somehow feel that people need to mutually encourage each other in their dealings to stay away from the world, and this is perhaps why many of us meet in discussions here, and in general.

With love.

I was just quoting that so we would know what the mods think. Maybe not all mods believe that idea. But some do.
Well, I'm assigned to some forums other than The Lounge, but I can say that CF does have some forums where heavier debate is allowed. Apologetics & Theology is one, along with any other forum under "discussion and debate". The Lounge is more of a place for fellowship and lighter subjects, although light, friendly debate is allowed last I checked. (We have different admins now than we did a few months ago, so some things are getting revised and changed since they have a slightly different way of handling things.) Christian Talk & Advice is specifically a no-debate forum. Overall we want the site to be a place everyone can enjoy.

If we were sharing a mean (oops! I meant to say 'sharing a meal') together -- one that our friends prepared for us -- and our conversation flowed along with the warmth and fellowship of the meal and if a variety of subjects were discussed and through it all we remained in our hearts before the Lord in thanks. If such a thing could be seen then these types of conversations, let's call them fireside chats with nourishment provided... would be far removed from "debate".

Words have negative connotations and may carry many meanings. Care is used when choosing our words so that they are able to convey our true position.

Something else: Each person is in a different place in their walk with God. We are joined to them through the actions of the Holy Spirit. At every part of our walk the Holy Spirit instructs us regarding our relationships with our brothers and sisters. The bond shared is demonstrated well when our mouths are bridled (directed by the lightest touch) to Him who loves my brother as He loves me.

[Jam 1:26 KJV] 26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion [is] vain.

Dont thank the people here. Thank the Lord, the only one you can really trust, and the only one that truely accepts you. I am also imperfect, just like everyone, but some people think they are above all other and are so great. Bite your tounge and enjoy your blessings.

So I am wrong for thanking people on here. I'm soooooo sorry.
