Acts 10 and what it means ?

Acts is mis-interpreted by most Christian and those that hold to the postion that the Body of Christ began at Acts 2
1) In previous posts on Acts I have proven that Acts is Jewish in Acts 2:5 . They will so glibbly LOOK and reject v5 , that there were dwelling at Jerusalem JEWS, JEWS PLEASE SEE THAT THEY ARE JEWS , devout men , OUT OF EVERY NATION UNDER HEAVEN. PEOPLE THESE ARE ALL JEWS .

2) And VERSE 9-11 , says where these Jews ALL LIVED .

3) All of Acts is like this .

4) There are a lot of sign posts in Acts , like the day of Pentecost ; Stoning of Stephen , and laying down his clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul/Paul ; Acts 9 , where Paul is saved and becomes the Apostle of Grace ; Acts 13 , where Barnabas and Paul are sent on there first mission , and many others .

5) Is it ANY mystery , that the Gentiles were going to be saved ? Answer is No . All you have to go back to Abrahamic Covenant to see this in Genesis 17:5 .

6) What did Peter preach to Cornelius ? Lets us see .

7) We all know the story of the sheet that was let down , and in Acts 10:34-35 Peter finally knows what is happening . And in v43 it is still whosoevers believeth in Him shall receive remisson of sinss , has ANY THING changed here , NO .
8) NOTICE Mark 16:16 , reads that , He that believeth and is Baptized shall be SAVED .

9) Is that what happened in Acts 10 ? NO .

10) iN V44 , As they were talking , the Holy Spirit fell on , FELL ON WHO ? It fell on ALL them which heard the word. Not just on Cornelius .

11) And in v45 who was present , they of the CIRCUMCISION , IN OTHER WORDS , they were Jews .

12) Is this what happens in this AGE of Grace ?

13) Look at the order , The Holy Spirit fell on them , Then Cornelius was Baptized , in 47 . That is not what happens to us today . We are saved by Grace through Faith , it is the gift of God Eph 2:8 .

14) I submit to you that , this is not Christianity , but it is what will happen to the Gentiles in the Future Tribulation which is another OP .

15) 99 % OF Acts IS all Jewish and you WILL notice that AFTER Acts 15 the Apostles are never heard about AGAIN .

You have only proved that the audience in Acts 2 on Pentecost was Jewish.

Dan read chp 15 of acts. The Jews were now realizing God had included the Gentiles and they the Jews had a meeting with Paul and Peter and came to the conclusion that the Gentiles were not to be burdened with Jewish law or ordinances. Gentiles were only required to do four things. Please read and see the gentile is not required any of such things as water baptism, lord's supper so called, and no ordinances are required of a Gentile. The book of acts is an overlapping time of two different programs God has going at the same time. One was his direct involvement with Israel and the beginning of God dealing both Jew and gentile in the church and fazing out dealing with Israel as a nation and setting it aside. When God completely set aside Israel God had the Romans tear down the temple. The reason for the overlapping was God giving Israel time to repent for rejecting their King. Now both Jew and Gentile are both a new creations in Christ that is neither Jew or Gentile. I can give you scripture for all of it if you like.

Hi Tomlane . I knew that I may have not emphasized IT , and it is this ;

1) The Acts 10 account had to do , with the Abrahamic Covenant , Gen 17 .

2) This was not Christianity , and this does not make Peter and apostle to the Gentiles , like Paul is .

3) As I has said , that by Acts 15 , the apostles are not seen at all .

4) It is still water baptism and NOT the grace of God .

5) By the middle of Acts ( 1 Cor 13 ) shows that Israel will soon be set aside.

6) And Acts 28:28 and Luke 13 : 6-9 definitely show that is what happened .

7) And yet , for 2000 years Israel has not had a temple or priests or sacrifices , and that proves that Israel was being PHRASE OUT , beginning in mid-Acts .

Dan, please state your case here. What is the point you are trying to make? You seem to be jumping from idea to idea and mixing some intellectual information with basic and elemental Biblical doctrine.

The Body of Christ, God's ekklesia, was established long before there was time; trying to pinpoint it's physical conception on Earth makes none of us more or less Christian. Don't wrestle so hard with all this dispy stuff, it'll tire you out.

Hi vic C , I don't believe that I am that intellectual that YOU CAN'T understand what I has written and will try again .

1) All of Acts to me ,is under the Law of Moses , Acts 21:20 .

2) Acts 10 ISN 'T the begining of Christianity , just because a Gentile is saved under the Law , The body of Christ is not yet FORMED .

3) There definitely is a change , because the falling of the Holy Spirit , and it fell on ALL of them in v44 , on all that heard the word .

4) This baptism of Acts 10 , IS a different process , than Mark16:16 , where believe is first and THEN baptism .

5) So, what hope is Cornelius under, since at this point in time there is NO , Body of Christ ? He , Cornelius is under the hope of Israel and has to become a proselyte .

6) There is nothing WRONG with Dispensationalism , but you all have to study what Paul , our Apostle of the Gentiles has to say , since he has written to THE Body of Christ .

7) I guess if you believe in speaking in tongues, which means that they spoke languages . Is this what happened when you ALL were saved , you all spoke in languages ?

8) Are we saved by Grace ? Or by the Holy Spirit falling us like what happened in Acts 44 , and then being baptized ?

9) v47 , tells us that what happened in Acts 10 was not something NEW , as to the message .

10) Then in Acts 11:3 , Peter was given the 3 degree as to why he was even meeting with those that where not circumcisioned . So we know that something is going to change .

11) The change that was coming , is that Israel is going to be set aside .

12) You say that the Body of Christ was formed way back when ? Give a verse please ?
