Anyone who closely studies the epistle to the Galatians will discover, in a resounding way, that there truly is a new Gospel. There are innumerable times in the epistle were a new and unheard of act or event is taking place. The law of the Old Testament is severely dealt with, literally dissolved, and the cross of Christ dealt with more than any other place in the Scriptures. There are at least seven Scriptures were Paul deals with the cross as a definite aspect of the final Gospel.
1) The cross and salvation,
Galatians 1:3-5
3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The key in these verses is the line " Who gave Himself for our sins." There are two important "givens" at the cross.
One, the Father gave His only Son to be His sacrifice so that He might have the legal right to destroy sin and the works of the devil.
Two, Christ gave himself to be the sinners sin and judgment. The death of Christ was both voluntary and predetermined to rescue humanity from its sin. Christ gave himself according to the will of the father. It was a planned death, planned before the foundation of the world was laid, and was plainly referenced in, 1st Peter 1:19-21.
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Throughout eternity Jesus death will be forever glorified because of His accomplishment of His mission at the cross.

2) The cross and Christian experience,
Galatians 2:20.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

This is the crowning verse of every believer who has ever had a revelation of Christ as his life, Gal. 1:15-16.
15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Gal. 2:20, I do not know of any Scripture that offers and gives the total understanding of the Christian life as does this verse. The key in this verse is the five words, "I am crucified with Christ." No Christian experience is complete unless it's basic truth is in the believers crucifixion with Christ.

There are verses that say Christ was crucified for us, and that is good but this verse says that at the cross I am crucified with Him. Of course, this truth is impossible to believe unless I understand that every human is in Him at the cross. When He dies, every human dies with Him. We become dead to our sin and to our old life--our old man, Romans 6:6. The cross is so perfect a work of Christ that in His death, being the death of the sinner, The new life is a whole new creation that has never been before.
Paul, though not present at the cross when Jesus died, received clear-cut information about the cross and Christ's death. He learned that there had to be an end to the old way of salvation through man's self effort and a new gospel based solely on Christ finished work at the cross. It is a Mystery why other New Testament writers did not display the cross as the centerpiece of God's plan as Paul did.
It could be that others did not have the understanding that Paul had, an understanding that came from his personal relationship with Christ. The many revelations that Paul received must have keynoted the cross in such a way that Paul understood that the final gospel was based on the cross.

The Law, given to Moses, is not disolved, that would mean God Changed, making Him a liar... that is not true in any fashion. (Mal 3:6)

You are giving the Life Application Commentaries (the New Testament) more weight than the Bible (the first 39 books) Jesus and the Disciples taught from, when there was no New Testament. The Law is still our instructor in the identity of sin, it matters!

Respect your understanding but totally disagree. It is fulfilled in Christ, we don't need the law to instruct us, When we can live by the life in us, Christ, against such there is no law.
The believer has no life of his own, the only life he has is Christ.
You have no church life, work life, husband-wife life, relationship life, you have one life, and that life is in the Son.

You are free to believe any false statement but that is not what the Bible teaches... your choice, right?

2Ti_3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
At the time this was written the only Scripture was the OT

Brilliant conclusions! Matt. 4:4, Luke 4:4

Jesus said we will LIVE by every Word of God.

Granted, there are some Words, a lot of them actually, where LIFE is hard to find.

It has to be dug out to find LIFE in every Word.

One, the Father gave His only Son to be His sacrifice so that He might have the legal right to destroy sin and the works of the devil.
Legality had absolutely NOTHING to do with it. The notion of legality arose from Augustine of Hippo and the RC scholastics and in so many words by Anselm, Archbishop of Canterbury in his pamphlet, "Cur Deus Homo." That error has, unfortunately, infected all of western Christian theology with a revised form of legalism.
1 Cor 15 tells us that Christ died and rose again to destroy the power of sin to bring death to mankind.

1Co 15:51-57
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
“O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Of course, this truth is impossible to believe unless I understand that every human is in Him at the cross.

Paul explains it thus:
Gal 2:20 (NKJV)
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

And:

Rom 6:3-7 (NKJV)
... as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin.

He learned that there had to be an end to the old way of salvation through man's self effort
There was never such a way of salvation.
The promise of the Old Covenant was:
Deu 6:18 (NKJV) And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land of which the LORD swore to your fathers,
and
Deu 12:28 (NKJV) Observe and obey all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.
Salvation was always by God's grace.
Psa 3:8 (NKJV) Salvation belongs to the LORD. Your blessing is upon Your people.
Psa 13:5 (NKJV) But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
Psa 32:1 (NKJV) Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.
Psa 32:2 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.
