Age of getting married?

I guess further clarification is in order. Are you asking about a socially acceptable age, or a biblical definition for who would be ready for marriage. These can be markedly different.

I think it's time to get married when you and your partner really feel like you should, it might takes year or 10 years. I don't know why am I asking this because I know the answer but more like I'd like to know when did you get married and how long it took before getting married.

I was 20, my wife was 18. We got married a week shy of exactly 11 months after we met. In all honesty, if we had it to do again, we might have waited another year or so. We learned the hard way we both still had some growing up to do. But to be blunt, I'm glad we didn't wait, because we learned a few lessons that could only be learned the hard way, and they've been invaluable later. That was 8 years ago, so we've almost made it through the "make or break" period of the first decade. ;)

I guess you can take that for what it's worth.

Both my wife and I were 29 when we got married. We had been friends for about 4 years before that, and only dated for one of those years. We married within 6 months of getting engaged.

My opinion on dating/courting is that it should only be used to discover if a person is someone who you should marry, and if it takes an inordinate amount of time (this can vary based on individual) then you should rethink the relationship. No-one should be dating for a "casual relationship," that just leads to temptation and sin.

I was 26 and my wife was 25. We met in april 2008 got engaged in September and were married the next June. The whole process is different for everyone. I wasn't looking to date anyone. I was courting her and when I knew she was "the one" I asked her to marry me. Best decision of my life.

My parents got married when they were 18. They had 5 kids by the time I got married. I Don't think that's something you can put an age to.
