Ah well,.. it's still a really good song nonetheless,.. and here's even a version that actually makes sense!! :D

Song writers love to create lyrics that echo with an emotion, that the listener can relate to and assume the song relates to them.
If you get specific, then only a small group relate, but if you leave it open the audience is much larger. You could say this is a kind of propoganda con, except that is pop music.
The songs are summaries of emotion in a few words, so will never be that precise like poetry.

Okay, I take it that you have McDonald's too then and I really wasn't exaggerating btw. Their nuggets are delicious but one time I had one of their burgers and I got sick to my stomach afterwards so that was a true story. LOL
