People think America was founded on that of God, but if they only knew the true foundation and the purpose of it by those we call the founding fathers, well all I can say is that we need to look up to heaven for our hope that is Christ Jesus.
 
Classik how comes you often open threads by making two or more posts with like one sentence in each?
 
Hi Classik,

I think Europe has about twenty years ahead of us with regard to social issues. We can look to them to see what we'll look like in twenty years.

Yeah we got a Nobel prize for our awesomeness too.

I'm wondering if that means that I am 1/500,000,000 of a Nobel prize winner.
Also, should I get 1/500,000,000 of the Nobel prize money? That's like 1 million €. Equally divided among the 500 million EU citizens my share would be... uh, never mind.

Okay this is not much of a contribution to the topic of this thread but I couldn't resist showing off my European pride. :D

I think in some ways the US does lead, military perhaos. But Europe seems to be a social, health and education leader. Don't forget countries like Singapore, China, South Korea, Japan, India and Australia, either.
