And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

God would gather the sorrowful to the solemn assembly, ( Zephaniah 3:18.) and our Messiah was a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, despised for His preaching of the Gospel, and rejected of those men ( the prideful)

But the Spirit of the Lord descended upon the Messiah, ( John 1:33.) because the Lord appointed our Lord Jesus Christ to preach good unto the meek, ( not to prideful rejecting man.) to bind up the broken hearted ( He is with the poor and contrite in spirit who tremble at His Word. Isaiah 66:2.) proclaiming the acceptable year of the Lord, the day of vengeance of our God, which is the comfort to all that mourn.

Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Jesus also preached how the Gospel is preached to those poor, sent to heal those broken hearted, to set at liberty the bruised, then it is the acceptable year of the Lord.

Then Jesus spoke to His disciples, blessed are them poor, who hungered, who wept, who were hated, separated and reproached, for the Son of mans sake.

The poor ( in spirit) blessed, as the Kingdom of Heaven brought to them by Christ is theirs, they who mourn will be comforted by the comforter, ( John 14:26. 15:26 ) the meek blessed, as they inherit the earth, who hunger and thirst after righteousness, which is the message of Christ, the merciful blessed, as they shall obtain mercy, the pure in heart blessed, they shall see God.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Luke 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Luke 6:20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Sorrow is the key to believing in Christ, who was acquainted with grief.

This is why the answer to when the end of this world is, ( to the blessed, weeping, mourning disciples ) is the beginning of sorrows.

How they shall be afflicted, killed, and hated of all men. ( for the Son of mans sake,, as when you are separated, reproached and your name cast out as evil is for the Lords sake.)

Then comes the time of offence, of betrayal, hating one another. ( not loving one another, as everyone who loves another is born of God and they know God. Romans 13:8. 1 John 4:7.)

But many false prophets rise to deceive many ( to no longer love one another.) and because this is iniquity abounding ( hearing many false teachers, teaching to be lovers of your own selves, (2 Timothy 3:2.) the love of those many goes cold. ( instead of loving one another, many hate one another.)

But he that endures to the end. ( in loving one another, as charity endures all things.) the same shall be saved. 1 Corinthians 13:7.)

lastly, the Gospel message of the Kingdom of Heaven, ( blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.) shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.

Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Matthew 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

1 Corinthians 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

The Beatitudes
Mat 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Faith and love (charity) go hand in hand especially within displaying the fruits of the Spirit.
1. To have charity is to know the love of Jesus Christ, passing all knowledge.

2. Regarding faith, you could have all faith, and have all knowledge, understanding all mysteries, and yet not have charity, and be nothing.

2 Peter 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

2 Peter 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

1 Corinthians 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Faith is not the bond of perfection.

Charity is the bond of perfection.

Charity is greater than faith, why is that hard to understand, when it is easy ?

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

If you read and see what this says, it is to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, then we dwell in love and love dwells in us.

To have faith in Christ, but to not walk in love, is to walk alone, without Jesus Christ.

Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Then if we do put on charity ( the bond of perfection) we love one another, because God ( who is love) dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us ( charity is the bond of perfection.)

This is BELIEVING, in the LOVE THAT GOD HAS FOR US ( to lay His life down for us.) and he that dwells in this love dwells in God and God in us, and we lay our lives down in love, for the brothers. ( as charity, not faith, seeks not her own 1 Corinthians 13:5.)

1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

is it not easy to recognise, that charity edifies, all the knowledge that is shared daily on forums cannot.

1 Corinthians 8:1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

Godly edifying ( only possible in charity.) is in faith. ( without charity there is no faith.)

Because the end of the commandment of God is charity, which is unfeigned faith. ( a faith without charity is feigned, false and in pretense) which some turn to vanity, because they do not understanding anything they affirm daily on these forums.

1 Timothy 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

Now we know why there is no love in the world of so called Christians, ( forum is the perfect proof/example daily) because iniquity abounds ( they do not abound in charity, cant understand or acknowledge the message) instead of abounding in kindness ( charity) to not be unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, that is exactly what is missing, fulfilling in them the words of Christ for them to wax cold in love.

Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

2 Peter 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

2 Peter 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Also it is easy to understand that the mockers daily on forums, resist against Gods word, that faith without works ( of love) is done by them, and that is charity ( love waxed cold because iniquity abounds) missing in their " faith" proven in their confessions, and then, lack of agreement to the truth.

James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

That faith without the Spirit is dead, exactly as the body without spirit is dead.

They separate from the Word of God, because they are sensual, and have not the Spirit. ( cant acknowledge that faith without charity is a dead faith.)

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Any unbeliever can have charity for others. But without having faith in Christ, being God's free gift of grace, then all your doing within your acts of charity is in vain as you are serving self and your own self-righteousness.

Any unbeliever can have charity for others. But without having faith in Christ, being God's free gift of grace, then all your doing within your acts of charity is in vain as you are serving self and your own self-righteousness.
If we examine ourselves as Gods word tells us to do, we find that Jesus Christ is in us if we are not reprobates ( without any morals.)

Men at this end of the world resist the truth, they are of corrupt minds, they are reprobate concerning the faith ( concerning the faith, they are without morals.)

These men profess that they know God, but God reveals how in works they deny God, because unto every good work they are instead reprobate ( without morals) and are abominable, and disobedient ( not obedient to anything of Gods righteousness and love/charity.)

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

2 Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Of course they are the false prophets ( false teachers) coming in sheep's clothing ( seeming like they speak and do good, but they are unable to speak or do any good at all)

They can only gather as told, thorns and thistles.

The good tree cannot give any evil out of them, and likewise the evil tree cant give any good fruits.

Jesus tells us how we can know them clearly, by their "fruits" as they are thorns and thistles ( they cannot have charity, charity is a fruit of the Spirit of God by belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

The Apostles are fearing that the serpent through subtilty, beguiles and corrupts our minds from the simplicity that is in Christ.

They come and preach another Jesus.

They are false Apostles, they are deceitful workers ( the forums contain them.) they transform themselves into the Apostles of Christ.

Satan is transformed into an angel of light.

Then it is no great thing that his ministers are also transformed as the ministers of righteousness. ( but their works are only unrighteousness.)

In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifested, the children of the devil do no righteousness, the children of God do righteousness, they love their brother. ( that is why this thread is against the deceivers who have no love, who betray and hate one another, and how they who endure, in charity, unto the end, the same shall be saved.)

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

I would also add that by serving others, you cannot serve yourself at the same time (the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, and their knowledge is turned backwards, we cant serve two masters, either the devil and ourselves we love, or God and loving others.)

Then we mark those who causes divisions to the righteous teaching of Jesus Christ, ( believing in the love of God, to love by laying our lives down for our friends/. the brothers.) and avoid them.

They do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, they serve themselves ( their own belly.) and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

But the obedience ( to the truth of loving another, not your own selves) came abroad to all men. which is being wise to do the good, and simple to the evil ( to not do it.) as satan will be bruised under our feet shortly.

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

I have been crucified with Christ so it is no longer I that lives, but Christ who lives in me.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

This is the summing up of the law in Romans 2.

When anyone has the form of knowledge and truth in the law, they teach to not steal, but they steal.

They teach to not commit adultery, but commit adultery. ( in their heart. Matthew 5:28.)

They hate idols, but commit sacrilege. ( covetousness is idolatry. Colossians 3:5.)

They boast of the law, but break the law.

Then if those not of the law ( through belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.) keep the righteousness of the law ( not teach of the law, then break it.) fulfilling the law, to judge those in the letter ( without the Spirit of Christ.) who transgress it.

Romans 2:20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

Righteousness could not come by the law ( as nobody did it.) righteousness came by the love of Jesus Christ, showing belief for us to also love another. ( Jesus Christ who loved us, and gave Himself for us.)

Loving ( in the love that Christ sheds into our heart by the Holy Ghost given unto us.) is fulfilling the law ( which all without sincere belief/unbelievers, do not do at all.)

They love their neighbours as themselves, love works no ill to his neighbour, therefore love ( given unto us through belief in the risen Lord Jesus Christ's love for us.) is the fulfilling of the law.

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

You have left off too many verses in your quote of Ephesians 2:8-10.

Perhaps the verses are seeming to show unbelievers can do charity ( love) for others, in verses 8-10.

The past ( before being quickened through the Spirit) all are dead in trespasses and sins.

All walked according to the spirit that works in children of disobedience. ( all unbelievers and all who do not love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.) as in the past we fulfilled the lusts of the flesh, when we were in the lusts of our flesh, being by nature children of wrath.

God rich in mercy, through His great love for us ( who loved us and gave Himself for us.) quickened us together with Christ, and saved us by grace, even when we were dead in sins ( all unbelievers and who do not love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity, are not quickened and are yet dead in their sins.)

We are saved by the grace of God, not of works. ( there are no works in trespasses and sins.)

Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

If someone quotes these three verses below for example, it may seem to say that we can do works of righteousness, but this does not save us. ( and all our works of charity/.love are done in vain then.) That we are not justified by any works we do, but we are justified by His grace ( of Christ.)

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

But that would be telling some of what is told.

The full content shows a better consideration.

We are then put in mind to be ready to every good work. Showing meekness to all men.

We ourselves ( as all unbelievers in the Lord Jesus Christ.) were foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

The kindness and love of God our Saviour appeared, ( not works of righteousness anyone did, as none did righteousness, there was none that did good, not one, or that can do good or righteousness ,without repenting from the power of satan, to God. Romans 3:10-12. Acts 26:18.)

According to His mercy God saved us, washing us in regeneration and renewing the Holy Ghost n us, to justify us through His grace. ( no person can do justly, without grace.)

Those who believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. ( they are good and profitable to men, and before this all are unprofitable, as none do good.)

Titus 3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Titus 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Romans 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

This is the summing up of the law in Romans 2.

Mat 23:7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

If someone quotes these three verses below for example, it may seem to say that we can do works of righteousness, but this does not save us. ( and all our works of charity/.love are done in vain then.) That we are not justified by any works we do, but we are justified by His grace ( of Christ.)

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

Put On the New Self

Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Col 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
Col 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
Col 3:7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
Col 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Col 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Col 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
Col 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Col 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Col 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Mat 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Mat 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
Mat 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
Mat 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
Mat 23:5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
Mat 23:6 AND LOVE THE UPPERMOST ROOMS AT FEASTS, AND THE CHIEF SEATS IN THE SYNAGOGUES,
Mat 23:7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, WHAT IS GOOD; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and TO LOVE MERCY, and TO WALK HUMBLY WITH THY GOD?

Matthew 23:6 AND LOVE THE UPPERMOST ROOMS AT FEASTS, and THE CHIEF SEATS IN THE SYNAGOGUES,

Matthew 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for ONE IS YOUR MASTER, EVEN CHRIST.
11 BUT HE THAT IS GREATEST AMONG YOU ALL SHALL BE YOUR SERVANT.
12 AND WHOSOEVER SHALL EXALT HIMSELF SHALL BE ABASED; and HE THAT SHALL HUMBLE HIMSELF SHALL BE EXALTED.

Luke 14:7 And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when HE MARKED HOW THEY CHOSE OUT THE CHIEF ROOMS; saying unto them.
8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, SIT NOT DOWN IN THE HIGHEST ROOM; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;
9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and THOU BEGIN WITH SHAME TO TAKE THE LOWEST ROOM.
10 But when thou art bidden, GO AND SIT DOWN IN THE LOWEST ROOM; that when he that bade thee cometh, HE MAY SAY UNTO THEE, FRIEND GO UP HIGHER: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
11 FOR WHOSOEVER EXALTETH HIMSELF SHALL BE ABASED; and HE THAT HUMBLETH HIMSELF SHALL BE EXALTED.

Luke 20:46 BEWARE OF SCRIBES, which DESIRE to walk in long robes, and LOVE GREETINGS IN THE MARKETS, and the HIGHEST SEATS IN THE SYNAGOGUESs, and the CHIEF ROOMS AT FEASTS;
47 Which devour widows' houses, and FOR A SHEW MAKE LONG PRAYERS: the SAME SHALL RECEIVE GREATER DAMNATION.
