Anybody Ever Remember Eating These Things As A Kid?

Compared to any mansion built today nothing comes with the Victorian architect.
I beg to differ, try the far older medditerean revival .these here are usually spanish ,but can be greek, roman ,and also Italian .Cobb house which go back to the bible are their ancestors.

The Alamo is in that category

The house here is nearly 100 years old built in the 20s.

Couldn't afford it. The workmanship then was extreme!
On anything prior the late 40s,modernist architecture, not my favorite as its more for utiliterian, and also quick and fast

However, unless it's Dade pine ,them old Victorians will have termites eating them.an old 1924 spanish revival apartment only stands today because if the main beams were Dade pine and termites won't touch it.

I disagree though I like those but ever seen a masonry version ? Not the same, ever seen the white house? Thays a federalist style ,wooden or masonry those always look great, they doNT need domes either to do so.

Savannah being the one of the oldest citied In North America has a ton.queen style ,and the other subset of Victorian.

I'm just partial to the beauty of the Victorian style although there are many beautiful styles out there. We have many masonry buildings here that were built in the 1800's that house many businesses today. They are all masterpieces.

Not so here up north as the elaborate Victorian homes around here meant one of high standing in the community that had wealth.

Implication of wealth ,but not always ,is usually the case.older homes after the civil war, here in my town ,were of grove houses.
