i love food and cooking, but lately i don't have a lot time

anyway, when i do, i would love to try some new things :)

What do you have in mind? I cook but I'm not sure what you're asking for. Dinner dishes? Goodies and desserts?

Not a lot of time? Simple stuff.Ok, heres a good goodie recipe that I make sometimes. Real easy, real good.

1 box of Angel food cake mix.
1 can of pineapple pieces in juice. (20 oz can?) I think so

Mix the two together and bake. Nothing else. This is good stuff here and everybody always likes it. About as easy as it gets too.

G'day, calvin here.
not so much a recipe as a way of life.
Have you ever tried a Pineapple and Banana sandwich?:thumbsup
I would never have tried them out except I was given some for free, now I'm an addict.

hello

i am looking more at dinner dishes made from scratch like chicken dishes

lately i have been surfing online for fried chicken recipes (i love those), but unfortunately at this point i can only drool over them.....

but the simple recipe you posted looks pretty good too

LOL never had that combination before

i should definitely try that some time!

Swiss chicken casserole doesn't require much prep time at all.

Bacon wrapped chicken with a brown sugar and chilli powder dust comes together quite fast.

Crispy cheddar chicken is another good one.

Most of my cooking is done on the smoker but these three listed here are just a few used in my house that don't require more than an oven. :)

I tend to do something like this:

Slice a chicken breast in strips or cubes
- if you can be bothered, marinade it in olive oil and soy sauce + spices overnight (keep it in the refrigerator).
I add dried chilli, garlic, herbs and salt to almost everything I make

Add chicken to frying pan (season it if you haven't already)
Add either chopped tomatoes or coconut milk or cream (the cream will sort of thicken as it heats up) to the pan, it will turn into a kind of sauce.
Taste and see if it needs more spice,

Serve with rice (boiled with salt and maybe some chilli) and a salad or vegetables (I often simply chop up some leek and paprika)

PS: You can boil the chicken in seasoned water in stead of frying it

I don't really have a chicken recipe. I just fry iy off the cuff when I make chicken and spice it with whatever I have on hand. Mrs. Dash or something.

When the Wife jumped ship, I got used to going to Allrecipes.com for ideas. That's a cool website with many features, I like it and you will too.
