April's Second Annual Spooktactular Virtual Halloween Party

1-Bowl-of-Halloween-Candy-1024x801.jpg

Mmmm,... yummy!! :biggrin Tanky-Tanky. *Shares some of my candy with you.* :) You know I was just thinking about the fact that even though this is a Halloween thread and not a Christmas thread,.. that if I get "The Greatest Showman" for Christmas, (which I know ninety-nine point nine percent of The Greatest Show by heart now to the point where I sing it on top of my lungs :lol) that I can think of you whenever I watch it and the day that we finally meet after I'm out on my own we can both sing and dance to it together right after we give each other a great BIG :hug. I'll probably be crying tears of joy as well. :') Anyways,.. for now,.. let's get back to the Halloween party. :biggrin (Btw, I'm a hundred percent serious when I tell you that I love you like a friend and father figure because I'm the type that doesn't say I love you to someone unless I actually mean it. :))

Well since I'm finished with everything that I need to do now I figured that we could use a few more Halloween carols before I sign off for the night. :wink

Here's my costume. I'll try to get a full body pic at some point. I have a big fluffy tail on this guy

Is that for the costume contest or for virtual trick-or-treating? Cause if it's for the latter don't forget that you have to say trick-or-treat first. :wink

Cute costume.

I agree and I wasn't going to work on this thread today,.. but since there are people here now here's a special Halloween treat for both of you. :biggrin2

Since I'm about to watch the first and second Scooby-Doo movie, I figured that I would post a bit of music from them. :wink

Well I never watched Scooby-Doo 2 last night because I was too tired so I went to bed. So I will be watching that (along with The Nightmare Before Christmas) today then instead. :) Anyways who doesn't like that loveable Great Dane!? :biggrin Here are two of my favorite scenes from the first Scooby-Doo that always makes me LOL!!! :hysterical

I nearly forgot that I was going to add another Halloween song today. Sorry guys it's been an extremely busy day. :whirlThis is a pretty good song though. :biggrin It's really hard to believe that I have my annual Halloween hayride next week!! :woot (I consider Sunday the beginning of the new week.) Then the week after that is Halloween and I have a friend coming over for pizza and to help me pass out candy, and then we're going to watch a scary movie together. :shock

The seat of my tricycle was set on fire on Halloween night in the 50's.

I have no independent recollection of this. My sister tells me she and Randall from next door chased these bad teenagers who did the deed, but couldn't catch 'em

Some bad things happen on Halloween, I pray for good times and fun this year.

When I lived in Killeen, TX and worked at the Army Airfield at Ft Hood, I used to work 4 to midnite, change clothes and go to fast food place.

It was Halloween night. I was about to drive out of my trailer area, but saw a firehose across the pavement and a fireman hollering "Don't drive over that hose!"

OK, I see it...

The animal shelter down the road was on fire - dogs were howling...

Dammed KIDS, I thought, DEVIL-WORSHIPPERS creating mischief on Halloween...
It was not so.

Like 89 cats and 20 small dogs died of smoke inhalation (they did not burn)

The large dogs were outside in pens - they were okay.
Official fire department report was that a coffee pot was left on in a breakroom

No devil-WORSHIPPERS, no damned kids. I donated 15 bucks for shelter to rebuild.

Really? Wow, I'm really sorry that that happened to you and I apologize for not posting on here recently but I've gotten tired of Halloween music but I suppose that I can do one now. :wink

Hey HeIsRisen2018!

I've had a thought. As I will be in the US when Halloween falls, I need to morph into a more open person than the reserved British person I currently am. Due to this, I am going to dress-up for Halloween...I'll need to research costume stores, but I'll do it. On 10/31 I'll post a picture in this thread.

Great!! I can't wait!! :biggrin I know this party has seemed a little bit dead lately but I was sort of sick of Halloween music for awhile. However since I am watching Little Monsters today and you're here now and I can finally do this again,... trick-or-treat! :biggrin2 (I also got a Halloween hayride to go to tonight as well. :wink)
