Here's my costume. I'll try to get a full body pic at some point. I have a big fluffy tail on this guy
Cute costume.
It was a cartoon on television too, as well as the movies.
I liked Alvin too, and Felix the Cat.
I never really saw Felix the cat, but knowing that you like cats, dogs, and chipmunks,.. how do you feel about wolves? :wink
I hope little red riding hood makes it safely to grandma's house.
The seat of my tricycle was set on fire on Halloween night in the 50's.
I have no independent recollection of this. My sister tells me she and Randall from next door chased these bad teenagers who did the deed, but couldn't catch 'em
Some bad things happen on Halloween, I pray for good times and fun this year.
When I lived in Killeen, TX and worked at the Army Airfield at Ft Hood, I used to work 4 to midnite, change clothes and go to fast food place.
It was Halloween night. I was about to drive out of my trailer area, but saw a firehose across the pavement and a fireman hollering "Don't drive over that hose!"
OK, I see it...
The animal shelter down the road was on fire - dogs were howling...
Dammed KIDS, I thought, DEVIL-WORSHIPPERS creating mischief on Halloween...
It was not so.
Like 89 cats and 20 small dogs died of smoke inhalation (they did not burn)
The large dogs were outside in pens - they were okay.
Official fire department report was that a coffee pot was left on in a breakroom
No devil-WORSHIPPERS, no damned kids. I donated 15 bucks for shelter to rebuild.
Hey HeIsRisen2018!
I've had a thought. As I will be in the US when Halloween falls, I need to morph into a more open person than the reserved British person I currently am. Due to this, I am going to dress-up for Halloween...I'll need to research costume stores, but I'll do it. On 10/31 I'll post a picture in this thread.
