April's Second Annual Spooktactular Virtual Halloween Party

This is a story from the Youtube channel The Paranormal Files...

This supposedly happened sometime in the '80s on an island in Greece. For some six months a young Greek soldier stationed on the island has been dating one of the local girls. Because he is in the service, his dates always have to end before midnight so he can be back in the barracks on time.

One particularly chilly night, the girl begins complaining about the cold, so the soldier lends her his uniform jacket. He drops her off at her home as per usual, and it is not until he is almost back on base that he realizes he has forgotten to take back his jacket which he'll need for morning muster.

So he hurries back to the girl's home and knocks on the door. An older woman answers this time. He explains why he is there. The woman asks what girl is he talking about. He describes the girl, and the woman says that he is describing her daughter, but that she has been dead for over a year. He doesn't believe her, but the woman tells him where she is buried and to check for himself.

The soldier rushes to the graveyard, and finds the grave. Sure enough, a girl of that name has been buried for over a year. On top of the grave is his neatly folded jacket.

That is spooky, but it doesn't count for the spookiest story contest since you didn't actually write it yourself. Anyways, welcome to the party and trick-or-treat! :biggrin2 Still, I really enjoyed reading it though. :)

That's fine. It's actually not fiction either. It's my account of something that supposedly happened for real.

At least the jacket was neatly folded.

Hey Michael! Welcome to the party! :biggrin Can I offer you any virtual refreshments? :) Also,... trick-or-treat! :biggrin2

It's a famous traditional Japanese candy. The candy is wrapped in edible rice paper, and it comes with a toy. In the old days, a plastic one, now it's some kind of card. You can see where the box used to be divided into two compartments, one for the candy, the little one for the toy.

Yeah, I figured that it was Japanese. Well anyways, now that the monsters have come to the party, here come the witches. :mischief (Yes I'm not afraid to go there lol :lol)

This song wasn't meant to be a Halloween song, but I think it kinda works as one
