yes, I know. and it's because the enemy is in charge of society. as it is written somewhere "and I (God) will punish them for their disobedience, and part of the punishment will be that a woman will rule over them" . (have control, have power over men, etc)

a wife is often told by her lawyer or even low-level(in so many ways!) legal counsel to make false charges against her husband (the other way around too- men are told by their counsel to make false charges )
in order to get their way - to get the children, or more money , or the company/corporation, or the house, or the car, or just about anything even if it isn't tangible.
they are encouraged to sin, and to sin abundantly, to get more money, power, etc... ... ... ... ..

This is what happens when people insist on using a Bible that they don't understand. Not only do they themselves use a Bible they don't understand, but they often demand that others do as well. There is no such word as "helpmate" in the Bible. If you look it up in the dictionary, you'll see that it is derived from the word "helpmeet". But that isn't in the Bible either. The word "helpmeet" was based on a verse in Genesis.

And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. (Gen. 2:18 KJV)

It's two words, not one - "help meet". But since nobody understood what "meet" meant in this context, they made up the word "helpmeet", which later became "helpmate", or a mate to help him. But that's not what the verse means. The word "meet" in 400 year old English meant "suitable" or "fitting". Eve was a suitable helper for Adam.

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” (Gen. 2:18 ESV)

A man and a women (husband and wife) need to compliment each other as where one is weak the other is strong. My husband is my help mate that meets me where I am weak and the same with me to him. He does not walk ahead of me, but beside me as we are equal as in two brought together as one.

I can only speculate as IMO I would think that the woman also worked in cultivating the garden as Adam did, Genesis 2:15, plus gathering and preparing meals as God made him a help that was meet (fit) for him, Genesis 2:18. Someone who is fit could not have any physical frailty.

In average women live longer than men. Even if you compare monks and nuns that spend their lifes in monasteries (no violence, no high risk behaviour, no childbirth, comparable lifestyle, comparable work and nutrition) nuns still grow older than monks. So if one sex is generally more frail then it's the males.

(the facts. the statistics. the reality. what not just people do to people, but what the system does, on purpose ---- it is worse than anyone can imagine..... can't even discuss it in 'polite' company.... truly, what the system does to people of all ages and persuasions, is not even fit or proper to discuss. ... .... Both of you are entirely correct, however, I think it is very important to focus on the positive with people. Many times people respond to how they are viewed and spoken of. I once heard an ex-convict talking and he was being very negative about everything. I said whoa bro, why so negative? He said, oh sorry, but I just got out...if you get treated like an animal long enough then you start acting like one. I found that very profound in a way. I think it's same principle with women (anyone really). Everyone needs positive reinforcement and we should all do our part to look for the good in people and focus on that. We are all bad, but we are all good also at least to a degree. Which seed will you water, the good or bad? ;)

On women and compliments to them...it's not hard to look upon and to find 'something' good about a person, even if they are mostly worldly, so yes give them compliments but I think that women hear so much compliments, that many of them come across cliche and are not taken sincerely. I noticed this awhile back and have taken to reserving many compliments to women and not giving them for the simple reason that (the women will notice) they will be taken as a line or cliche, and not as genuine. but if one withholds compliments, and only occasionally gives them...they notice that also and will appreciate the compliment very much more when they do get them.
