lol, I love hiking. In the midst of a "Trail"? Or did you mean trial?
Having one of those right now.Me too. This is just typical of the day I had yesterday. You every had one of those where nothing goes right? Thank God for new days.2
lol. THAT SOUNDS like when I fix something whether a car or something around the houseYeah my day was rather rough, too.
When eating breakfast I spilled all my coffee over the fresh from the laundry table cloth. When I wanted to leave for an appointment and training afterwards I found no sports pants that were clean, except for one freshly washed that was still wet. Had to dry it quickly with a hair dryer. When I arrived at my appointment I noticed that my water bottle had been open in my bag so my pants were wet all over again. Managed to get home after my appointment so that I'd had 30 min at home to dry the pants *again* and eat lunch. While drying the pants my hair dryer fritzed out. I've only had it for 3 months. So not having any pants for exercising I decided to wear my karate uniform pants although it wasn't karate practise, but turned out to be okay wearing them.
After the afternoon workout I wanted to catch a particular bus (they go only once per hour to where I live) to go home for two hours, relax a bit and pick up the stuff for the evening sports (you know, I practice like 3 kinds of sports and need different clothing for each...). But on my way to the bus stop I met two friends, and thus I got involved into a conversation, and missed my bus by 30 seconds, so I had to stay in town and wait an hour. During the training in the evening I received a few hits on an unprotected part of my right arm (some people hit hard while aiming poorly), looks kinda blue now and hurts. Also I messed up almost every exercise we did. Getting home my appartment's door lock didn't work right and I needed several minutes to get in. Then my modem didn't work right and needed half an hour and several resets to get internet access. Now I want to take a shower very bad but I just remembered I used up my shower gel last night and totally forgot to buy a new bottle of shower gel today, and since my hair dryer is broken I'll have to go to bed with wet hair, too.
So talking about being in a trial...
But actually I think it was a fun and amusing day. There was some good stuff intertwined with the mishaps.
Gonna start a new job next week, so hopefully my life will become more structured and better organised then.
Sounds a lot like my day yesterday. Our car was acting up. We have to take it in to the dealer and that means we have to drive 50 miles. We had no idea how much it would cost. My husband drove the car into town and I came later in our truck to keep him company for awhile and do some shopping. We got the car into the dealer and he told us that the car would not cost us anything to fix and it would take about four hours to fix. I decided to go home and leave my husband there. In the mean time someone called us to come look at a roto-tiller we had for sale on craigs list. He was coming from about 75 miles away to see it (everything is far away in New Mexico) and he would be home after my husband got home because I don't know anything about how to start or run the thing. Then my husband called again and they found another problem that would cost $1100.00 to fix and it would take a week to get it fixed. By this time I was already home. The problem with the car happened because a rock hit so we thought it would be covered by insurance and we called our insurance agent. She said it would and now the cost would be $500.00 and she would set up a rental car so my husband could get home before the other guy came to see the roto-tiller. Them my husband called back and told me that this part of the car was still under warranty and it wouldn't cost us anything. So I called my insurance agent to stop the claim and I had to rush back into town (50 miles again) to get my husband and get him home before this guy came to look at our roto-tiller. I left a note on the door for him because we didn't know his cell phone number and ran out the door. Good thing we did because the guy called while we were on the way home and told us he had looked at his clock wrong and arrived an hour early. We have a restaurant close to our house so we told him to go there and wait. We finally hooked up with the guy and sold the roto-tiller and our car will not cost us anything to get fixed.Yeah my day was rather rough, too.

I don't think there are any "coincidences" in God's kingdom, only God blessing us. If we get discouraged and depressed when trials come the Lord can't bless us through them. That is what the devil wants. Praise God that he gave you the $100.00Fun all over eh? I had truck trouble today also. Bleh. One thing after another it seems. I have a new strategy lately. The Word says I am in Christ, washed clean. Ok, I stand on His Word. Above frustration, above emotion. If I am in Christ, He leads me. Things that happen are just adversity and tribulation. He says He will not leave me nor forsake me. So when adversity comes my way now, I begin to praise God. I thank Him for being an amazing God that is with me always and has done so much for me. He led me to this place, so He will see me through it.
It is hard not to feel discouraged when something happens. But is that God? No. Is it how I feel in my heart? No. So those discouraging thoughts are doubt and discouragement trying to get in! So I began praising God (I was feeling down because my truck needed parts and I had no money). Then I got a feeling to go search for money that I may have hid before. (I don't know why). I have already looked before, but I went anyway. When I go in my bedroom, I get an image in my head of a little container that I used to hide money in, out of the blue. So I look for it, find it, and found 100 dollar bill. What I needed. Praise God! Coincidence? I think not.
What you say you get.
The do, but this was a real problem. I am happy it was still under warranty. Happy Thanksgiving ClaudyaLOL oh well that was an exciting day for you as well, but it awesome how well everything fell into place.
Ain't it amazing how those car repair guys ALWAYS find some grave problem in your car in addition to the trifle that you came for; and before you know it the costs have double or quadrupled? I always hated having to bring my car to a repair because the costs tended to spiral out of control each time.
Also it's awesome how you are planning to use the money you got from the sale. I pray God will make good use of your money to reveal Himself to many people during that revival.
dentists are no different. its often because MOST people don't maintain their cars. what ever they shops tell me I already know about. that is because I check my stuff and only go to tire stores for mounting and sometimes balancing tires. once I had a recall once Nissan for its stering shaft from the wheel to the coupler and the dealer wanted to fix the ac hose and quoted me 300 bucks. I said no thanks. I knew it was leaking, I fixed it for a 100 bucks. hose plus the drier and refrigerant.LOL oh well that was an exciting day for you as well, but it awesome how well everything fell into place.

Don't eat too much.
We don't celebrate thanksgiving where I live. Ordinary thursday here today. But thank you anyway! :yes

Wow, that's so cool. The Lord's blessings are new every day. :wootThat is true, and why God doesn't play dice...he'd always win! The Lord continues to bless me. I replaced my parts, and it still wouldn't start. Couldn't go to work. Couldn't go to the Thanksgiving dinner that I was invited to by friends. Had no more money. Doors slamming all over on me. I praised God with all of my heart and did not let worry or fear enter into me. We all know that when God closes a door, that he opens another. I made me some toast and coffee and remained alone, reading the Word and praying. Said a short prayer about the truck, wished I had posted more ads on CL before they shut off my internet, and sat pondering what the Lord may do now. I just kept my focus upon Jesus and pondered how much I do have to be thankful for, how much He has done for me.
Thanksgiving dinner knocked on my door complete with pumpkin pie, the phone rang with a sizable job from an ad I had posted months ago, and the next time I went to the truck to spend some time trying to figure what could be wrong this time, it uh, started right up.
You're exactly right. There are no coincidences in Gods Kingdom. Oh, Praise the Lord!!
