Are you worried about your future?
Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
The disciples had a reason to worry. We know from Acts that these events, that Jesus proclaimed, happened. The disciples knew, because they trusted Jesus' words, but chose to spread the gospel (good news) anyway.
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The disciples taught the good news with the full knowledge of what would happen. Christ, and fulfilling his final proclamation, was more important than their lives. They knew the cost and did it anyway. Think about that. What does it say about their characters? What does that tell us about their teaching? Can we trust what they wrote? What are your thoughts? Keep walking everybody. May God bless,
