For 20 years, I have wished that someone would call their daughter "Xenia" (pronounced like "Zenia"). So far, no one has taken me up on it. It is a Greek word which means "hospitality".

LOL my first daughter is called Sarah (princess)Liouse (warrior maiden), so I suppose that comes pretty close! My youngest daughter is called Grace Tikvah (we call her by her middle name, Tikkie for short) It means "Hope" in Hebrew. My sister in law suggested Herodious Abbishag, but that didn't really appeal too much, y'know? :)

"MISFIT"
That's kind of a "hippie" name... I love it!

Sorry Misfit.......couldn't resist those good ole hippie names! :lol

No need to be sorry I really do like it. Although I'm not even 30 I like the "hippie" type names.

Update: Baby's gender will not be known until January. However, baby made its first debute at its first ultra sound. We came to a rather surprising realization or two as well. First...I am sixteen weeks pregnant, instead of the 12 to 14 that we had calculated. Secondly...the baby was looking like it was trying to suck its little thumb from within the womb!

All is well to this point despite all the stress hubby and I are under, the baby has a strong heart beat, looks healthy, and is rather good sized. We are not only guessing the gender now, but about roughly how big the baby will be. Is that not awesome or what?!

Bleep? Gah Filters, lol

Glad to hear that everything is going well :)

:o Yikes....the things that can be seen as profane these days.

??? Now I want to know what you said. Glad it's going well for you, my wife is 24 weeks now and it's also looking good.

Indeed. Filters can be both a blessing and a curse. Still it is true. That word by itself can be used in both contexts. The baby was however, doing just that in the womb! Or at least trying from what it looked. If not that, then giving us the thumbs up! Looked so precious too.
