  • Ecclesiastes 3:18-21 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

Beasts are those that don't follow God, human...not animal beasts. The passage isn't saying that we are beasts too but we are like them in that both beasts and believers will die physically. It is after that physical death that we see an obvious difference. The spirit of man goes to our Father and the spirit of the beast goes to it's father.[/b]

Job makes a comparrison of the 'difference'....

  • Job 35:10-11
    10 But none saith, Where is God my maker,
    who giveth songs in the night;
    11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth,
    and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? KJV

That is a very interesting passage Ret....Who or what are the "beasts of the earth and the fowls of heaven?" :chin Bears and moose, robins and eagles? Or...maybe ducks? :lol

Hummmmm....so you want to go back to school....how illuminating...! :clap

  • Job 12:7-10

    7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee;
    and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:

    8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee:
    and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.

    9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?

    10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.KJV

We descend as angels...become man....die physically....ascend as angels. My angel is my spiritual/soul body.
Huh.
Can we assume you are now preaching the pre-existence of the soul ?

i see this is gotten a little out there as well whirlwind, mormonism? i see no need to debate this furthur.
