Beasts are those that don't follow God, human...not animal beasts. The passage isn't saying that we are beasts too but we are like them in that both beasts and believers will die physically. It is after that physical death that we see an obvious difference. The spirit of man goes to our Father and the spirit of the beast goes to it's father.[/b]

Job makes a comparrison of the 'difference'....

  10 But none saith, Where is God my maker,
  who giveth songs in the night;
  11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth,
  and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? KJV

That is a very interesting passage Ret....Who or what are the "beasts of the earth and the fowls of heaven?" Bears and moose, robins and eagles? Or...maybe ducks?
