Pepsi sponsored program: 'Jesus Christ, who hates many people, but none more than homosexuals'

March 30, 2009

Dear Friend,

On March 8, PepsiCo helped sponsor Family Guy, a perverted and sickening television program on FOX network.

PepsiCo helped sponsor the program which pushed the homosexual agenda and denigrated Christ. At a "straight" meeting, the speaker talks to gays about Jesus and tells them, "Jesus Christ, who hates many people, but none more than homosexuals.†The scene comes near the end of the video.

I may be making the switch to water pretty soon. I know Family Guy has always been a show that pushes limits but that is utterly disgusting and has no business being on public Television.

So Pepsi is supporting a show that has gay involvement and some think that drinking Pepsi is to be stopped? Is that it? Hmmm, :confused does that mean no one should go to any Broadway shows anymore? How about community theater? There are lots of gay people who are actors in community theater, does that mean we should stop attending community theater? Does that mean that no one should eat at any restaurant that hires gays? What about a company that hires gays? Should we stop purchasing their products? :confused

I know I was upset awhile back because of something McDonald's did for a gay cause, but I didn't stop eating McDonald’s food.
I've been thinking here.... If we ban all products that have anything to do with the support of a gay cause No matter what the cause would be, what does that prove?

Coke? Are they squeaky clean in their reputation? Shall we stop drinking coke because they support a gay person by hiring him? Come on guys! Shall we stop going to any restaurant because some gays work there? The world is in need of salvation not banning. Go talk to the sinner and the sinner might come to be saved from their sin by getting to know what Jesus came to this world for. Did Jesus eat and drink with sinners? I'm sure he did. The 5,000 on that mount, do you think there were sinners a few out of all those sinners that were of the homosexual lifestyle? It's not banning a product that counts, it's talking to the sinner and helping them come to know that Jesus came to save them FROM the committing to sin.
And I thank God that He does not forsake me or abandon me but comes to save me. IF I sin Holy spirit first convicts me of sin (shows me I have sinned) then leads me, guides me into repentance, the redemption of the sin, He saves me from committing to that sin again. Holy Spirit in Jesus, my example of faith in the Word of God. I have faith in Him, therefore I believe. I grow by faith, I believe in what Jesus says, "Your faith has made you whole." If Jesus says it I'll not deny that. I have placed my trust in His truth. He left this earth to send us the Holy Spirit. Not to abandon us, but to guide us and save us from sin. And so too, I'll not abandon a sinner who is willing to hear the message and receive. If it going to take drinking a Pepsi with a or hiring a gay that will bring them in the company of a Christian, then that's that. God works in mysterious ways. And we are to not reject others because we see the sin they walk in. We are to help them come to the Lord so that they too can come to see their sins for what they truly are and for what His saving grace through faith in His Word can do for them also.

Now as far as the Apostle Paul saying don't have anything to do with those who are sinners. Well, I think that can be misconstrued. He in my opinion meant to not partake in the actual sin, not meaning to stay away from them and not even talk to them or help them in any way. Same goes for anyone who is in any type of a sin. I'll not reject them.... AND, I don't reject the homosexual person, I do not approve of the sin and I do let them know that I believe as God requires of me to believe, that sin leads to destruction. And in the meantime, I'm gonna talk to the gay, I'll eat with the gay, I'll even be hospitable to them in my home. I'll not turn them away. I'll talk to them till Jesus comes to them! And, I'll keep drinking my Pepsi, thank you. :amen

God Bless.

Actually, public television isn't what it used to be, and that is a shame. We have no control over the public. God only helps to those who are willing, not to those who are unwilling, and many of the secular are not so willing. But we know God will deal with them in due time. So, all we can do is keep on, keep’n on with providing the good news of salvation to the sinner, and let them know why Jesus came to this earth, to save the sinner from committing to the sin, not from drinking Pepsi just because they give a gay person a paycheck.

We ought to be very grateful that there are excellent Christian TV stations that are being offered to us and that we have the freedom to watch whatever we want. If God restricted us from our freedom of choice who would we be left on earth to share the good news of salvation to? God even uses the wretchedness so that in the end of it, his Glory can shine through. If there were none to be saved, then there would be no sinners to talk too to bring to Christ! :lol God uses both the saint and the sinner for a purpose. What is it like in heaven? What would there be to praise for His Glory in heaven if there were no sin to be freed from?

We have a simple task to allow God to work a His mighty work in us and through us, all we need do is obey and allow Him to work through us as His vessel. I can't even do that without Him giving me His grace and compassion to be used for His purpose. I'm nothing without Him. Yes, even the sinner is being used for the means to an end, for the cause of HIS glory to come shining through. God is so awesome, He comes to save the sinner. And that is ALL of us. We are not going to be damned for drinking Pepsi because some gays are getting a paycheck from the company. Nor are we going to change their mind by not drinking pepsi.

I'll just keep drinking Pepsi on occasion, and I may even drink one or two with a gay person as I tell them about the saving grace of our Lord through faith. I have faith that God is working through each and every one of us. Yes, even through the sinner so as to bring His Gorly to come shine in the end of the matter. :D

COke, pepsi has this new treehugger logo out now so I definitely don't like it, used to, to me it always tasted like dirty water with a bunch of fizz in it, terrible to sip on. :shame

Not trying to be biased, but coke classic is just darn good to sip on, and the theory is, if you can sip on it, it's a good drink.... Coke goes good with many dishes, give me oen well known dish that pepsi goes good in...

PAWNED!!

Fanta orange is too sweet, root beer is okay, but it's all liquid candy. that's why peoples breath smell horrid after drinking it.

Well I prefer Pepsi over Coke with any dish. For example, I really like pepsi to go with pizza. I think this is all a matter of opinion as to what a person likes. Some like coke, some like pepsi. Some like other colas.

I do however, prefer the "Pepsi Throwback" version of Pepsi to the current High Fructose Corn Syrup version. It was out for a limited time and you may still find some around. Stores will stock their supply until they run out. What they did with "Throwback" is removed the corn syrup and replaced it with natural cane and beet sugar. It tastes a lot better and you don't get that chemical aftertaste when you drink it. It also seems to stay carbonated longer, it doesn't go flat as fast as corn syrup versions. Often with the corn syrup version, I would find the Pepsi to go flat towards the end of the can. That isn't the case with throwback. Before the 80's, sugar was used in sodas. But after sugar started to cost too much, they began using corn syrup. So the throwback verion tastes pretty close to how it was back in the 60's and 70's. I have read a lot of positive reviews on it and I hope Pepsi keeps it around. :yes
