Throw her out of the window?!
Yeah. Jehu stood outside and she was looking out of a window taunting him. So Jehu called for the palace guards, and found 3 volunteers inside who threw her off the window. The Bible said her blood splat all over the place, so she was most likely dead from the fall damage. But just to make sure (or because they hated her so much) they ran her over with their horses and chariots. Later, when they wanted to burry her her body had been eaten by the street dogs and only a skull remained, as was prophesized to Jehu when he was anointed to be king.
Maybe if the tools at her disposal would have included weapons instead of just make up she may have stood a better chance.
if that offends you then why didn't you also find her reaping what she sowed from god offensive. that was foretold that she would die in this manner. she was all about killing men and women who loved the lord.
Jason, how in the world could you come to the impression that I was offended? I was only recounting the Bible story from my memory, without any assessment or judgement on my part. Just like one would retell the plot of a movie.
If I get misunderstood like that I must doubt my ability to communicate.
