I used to love this guy when I was a kid. :) In fact I still love him now so I figured that I would post some videos of him before bed for your enjoyment. I haven't seen these yet but I think he usually does experiments that you can perform for yourself.











 
Bill Nye has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
In 1986, Nye left Boeing to pursue comedy, writing and performing jokes and bits for the local sketch television show Almost Live!, where he would regularly conduct wacky science experiments. Nye aspired to become the next Mr. Wizard and with the help of several producers successfully pitched the children's television program Bill Nye the Science Guy to KCTS-TV, channel 9, Seattle's public television station.

He's not a scientist.
He's an engineer and comic and pro-abortion on demand.
Not so brilliant IMHO.
 
Just because he's pro-abortion doesn't mean that he also can't be entertainment. I don't have to agree with his political views to enjoy him. As a matter of fact I do believe he is also an atheist. If I viewed what I classify as good, solid entertainment based on whether or not they agreed with me on everything, I would be bored out of my mind.

True. But Bill has gotten into the area of politics and global warming and even matters of faith. He's anti faith. His science is not good. His only redeeming quality might be that he's a good entertainer when he's not trying to be an expert in all things.

I'm glad you like him and find his videos entertaining. I've never watched him except for a few clips here or there. Maybe cuz I'm an older guy and didn't grow up with him. I wish people like that would stay out of politics though.

Him and Neil DeGrasse Tysons need to slow down and let people who actually do the science talk to the people, or at least stop the constant political banter.

Yes, sexual identity is a spectrum. There are a lot of things about humans that aren't so good. That's one of them. Some cultures have simple adapted to the fact. Others haven't.

For some people, for whatever reasons, they find themselves unable to fit neatly into heterosexual dichotomies. It's clearly not something they decided to be. So we should offer compassion and support to them as they struggle to deal with the problem.

And such people, if they are able to maintain lives of chastity, are worthy of our respect and admiration.
