Hey guys, so I couldn't find the thread for the 'show off your knife' that I found a while back, so here's mine, a Tracker Knife

It's made by Kalahi Custom Blades in the Philippines and its made of 5160 carbon steel. It was shiny when it came via delivery, but I applied a Tiger Pattern forced patina

Looks like a Tom Brown Tracker?
That 5160 is good stuff, irc they cannibalize old cars and use the leaf springs.
Himalayan Imports uses the same steel in their Kukris...very durable and holds a serviceable edge for quite a while.

that would make it brittle at times. good for blades but don't bend that blade too much it will shatter.

The Chris Reeve Sebenza w/ cocobolo wood inlays goes well with the Jesus wallet my sons bought me for my birthday last year. Usually in my pocket when I'm not at work.
