Angels have some form of body, as the 2 angels that went into Lot.
The people of Sodom and Gom., Wanted to have sex with them.
The people of Moses ate manna, angels food.
Jesus ate with some of His disciples, after the resurrection.
The Holy Spirit impregnated Mary.
A whole lot of angels protected Elijah, which had to open his servant's spiritual eyes.

In Job 1:6, Job 2:1
Now there was a day when the SONS OF GOD came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Also, Job 38:7
Speaking of the foundations of the world,
When the morning stars sang together, and ALL THE SONS OF GOD shouted for joy...

Any created being can be called "a son of God".
Jesus was the only son of God, per se, His offspring.
Jesus was God in the flesh.

Who were they? We are talking about before and during the foundations of the earth.

Jesus is referred to the morning star, in Rev.2:28, Rev.22:16

They inhabited the land in Canaan and this is why God sent Joshua to destroy them so Israel could posses the land.

I agree as in #5307 this is what happened when Joshua was sent out to slay all the Anakims, except the ones who fled into Gaza, Gath, and in Ashdod.

If you break down Genesis 6:1-8 You can see that those sons of God were not angels as angels are spirit and can not procreate nor are given in marriage, Matthew 22:30; Mark 12:25. 1Corinthians 15:39, 40 states that men are men, animals are animals, fish are fish and angels are angels. There is no scripture which would even remotely lead us to believe angels had sex with women or that Giants were born of them.

This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. Actually Genesis 5 serves as context for Genesis 6, and proves that the sons of God in Genesis 6 were angels and not men.


No where in the Old Testament are men referred to as sons of God, especially in the genealogy in Genesis 5.


With the exception of Adam, because Adam was created by God, men were called sons of men, not sons of God.


Only do we find in the New Testament that men who are born again are called sons of God because we are born of God and are His offspring.


How can a man and a woman reproduce a son of God?


Therefore men were called sons of men in the Old Testament.

If you break down Genesis 6:1-8 You can see that those sons of God were not angels as angels are spirit and can not procreate nor are given in marriage, Matthew 22:30; Mark 12:25. 1Corinthians 15:39, 40 states that men are men, animals are animals, fish are fish and angels are angels. There is no scripture which would even remotely lead us to believe angels had sex with women or that Giants were born of them.

It states that Goliath was 6 Cubits and a span.
A cubit is still being disputed, ranging between 21 and 25 inches.
A span is half a cubit, or about 10 1/2 inches.
Thus,
This makes Goliath, about 14 feet tall.
I love ya, FHG, but by combining ungodly MEN to Godly MEN, does not make one 14 ft tall.
DNA has no spiritual reference.
Even today we have unbelievers and believers alike, that do not bear children that would be 14 ft tall.

I don't know how they did it, sex, artificial insemination , what ever,
They are way beyond our years..
What does one really know about the spiritually realm, another dimension?

From #3205 meaning to beget, birth, declare pedigrees...

Noah was perfect in his pedigrees, he had not mixed with these sons of God, angels.

We know by reading the first book of Enoch that he wrote about angels having sex with women that produced giants. Giants were in the land before the flood and after the flood and even today as one being rather tall in height averaging seven feet or taller. I believe he wrote of this from a traditional theory handed down to him.

On another note, it seems like Enoch wrote in parts and possibly someone else in other parts as it reads like two people wrote the book of Enoch.

But, there has been some skeletons uncovered, that were 13 to 14 ft tall.

My only source is from the KJV and I have to stand by those scriptures I gave in post #21. I found that website yesterday when I was searching the length of a cubit and the length of a span and found it interesting.

I'm sure there are skeletons of that size, but yet the hereditary pituitary disorder that causes acromegaly or gigantism, there is also skeletal dysplasias that causes dwarfism.

This subject has been debated for probably centuries and one just has to draw their own conclusions.
