IME, they wont wait, for almost anything. A stopped up drain in a restaurant really hurts them, they want it open NOW. And if the heat or A/C goes down, they want it done now because if they don't then they know that people will start "getting sick" and going home. And Supermarkets...better get that fridge working now before they lose 200K worth of product (and blame us!).

They sent me to a Home Depot once where the ventilation system went down...and they had a stopped up toilet! I could smell it as soon as I walked in the front door, and the bathroom was in the back. :drool

pespis pretty bad too..... and btw just last night at a table with 6 other men i never saw before or since , after finishing the dried out burnt chicken and good mashed potatoes,
ice cream was offered to us all
and i said no,
and some one or more asked why ---
because i havn't had ice cream in twenty years (as a rule) because around the first part of the last century it caused polio and was responsible for 2 polio epidemics.....

so many common taken food and drinks have caused so much wide-spread disease !

I looked it up. Here's what I found (emphasis mine).

Well during this polio scare, some scientists stumbled into what has become one of history’s most famous examples of jumping to conclusions.
They declared that ice cream was the problem.

It happened because some watchful experts noticed an interesting correlation. The yearly rates of polio infections seemed to rise in fall in lock step with the consumption of ice cream. The peak summer ice cream season fell during the exact height of polio infections. Studies were performed. Could the virus survive pasteurization? Could it be spread? One Dr. Benjamin Sandler publicized this theory, cautioning parents against feeding their children frozen confections. The excess sugar, he proclaimed, was the cause.

Ice cream sales plummeted.

Now it was true that polio rates did rise during the summer. But looking back, the idea that ice cream causes polio seems absurd. It turns out that the polio outbreaks were actually due to improved sanitation, of all things. As cities and towns became cleaner, children lost early exposure to the polio virus and the valuable immunity it conferred. The summer spike was simply coincidence with natural exposure rates. The scientists had seen a correlation and assumed it was the cause.

coke does the same, I rinse the terminals with water. remember these things are great for cleaning batteries and one of them can be used to brush you teeth!
1) coke
2) pepsi
3) sprite and any soda
4) orange juice
5) arm and hammer's baking soda
6) any other baking soda
7) a can of battery acid cleaner is in fact baking soda!
