Bible Study Can An Unmarried Person Commit Adultery?

Yes, you can commit adultery spiritual.
By following after false doctrine, other gods.

This is why God DIVORCED Israel.
Jer.3:8
And when I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

Flesh?
It is wrong also.
Though it is not the unforgiven sin.

Oh so you mean like adultery against God?

Oh so you mean like adultery against God?
Yep...
Are we not suppose to be His virgin bride? Spiritual sense, of course.

Isa.54:1
Sing O barren, thou that didst not bear, break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child, FOR MORE ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE DESOLATE THAN THE CHILDREN OF THE MARRIED WIFE...

Gal.4:27
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not, break forth and cry, thou that travaileth not, for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

Matt.24:19
Woe, unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days...

I believe it meaning,
When Jesus returns, He expects a virgin bride.
But instead He will find many giving suck, they have been unfaithful, they played the harlot with the so called Antichrist.
In a spiritual sense of course, lol.

2 weddings...
Christ
Or
The false Christ

Just like the parable of the 10 virgins, Matt.25:1-12

Concordances confuse the daylights out of me and I get little value from reading them. I was hoping you could provide a laymen's explanation for us.

They are simple. Use Strong's Concordance to locate every Bible verse in the OT and NT that uses the word 'adultery'. Simple as flicking through the hard cover edition or using the online 'find'.

I'm really glad that you clarified that for me because I thought it only revolved around sexual intercourse. However I think saying that somebody looks really pretty (or cute for us :tongue) is a LOT different than saying; "can we hook up because I really want to sleep with you." In other words thinking that somebody looks attractive is different than lusting after them imho. Hence my attraction to Luke Bryan, Brendon Urie, etc. It's not like I actually want to have sex with any of them I just think that the Lord made them extremely good looking. :winkI would NEVER actually cheat on Joey not EVER!!! :nonono
Hmmm ?
Interesting.....DETAILS
