[__ Prayer __] can you please pray loud that god heals my asperger?

my sickness is killing me.

I feel badly for you, but it is not a "disease" that is curable.

Asperger’s syndrome is part of the autism spectrum disorder, also known as ASD. According to medical experts, it is a mild form of autism and generally manifests without extreme mental disabilities. The main outward characteristics of a person with Asperger’s syndrome are poor social skills, lacking nonverbal communication, and being clumsy.

Unlike other forms of autism, brain imaging has not shown a common pathology between sufferers. Scientists believe that there may be a genetic cause of the syndrome, as many times multiple people in one household can have the illness. So far, no genes have been identified in relation to the syndrome.

In a small percentage of cases, exposure to certain chemicals and medications while in utero are believed to have contributed to Asperger’s. There are many theories of how an individual may develop Asperger’s syndrome, but none have been conclusively proven yet. Currently, there are hundreds of studies from scientists around the world trying to understand the cause and treatment of this syndrome.

Dear thesaintman, I am so happy to go before God to heal you.

Dear Father, You inevitably bring us to the place in our lives that we reach out to You, and I know this sweet man has asked, and asked. Please have great grace and mercy, heal him as only you can for there is nothing hard for You, and also increase his faith to receive it. Thank You Father, and I ask this in our precious Savior’s name of Jesus. Amen.

Do not be discouraged if immediate results are not experienced because although some healing was done by Jesus immediately, some were told to show themselves to someone & were healed on the way.

Elijah, a prophet told a man to bathe in a river. God may have you continue to see your doctor, and regardless the treatment it is God that will give the increase.

Mar 5:29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

Luke 17:14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

2 Kings 5:10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

Act 14:8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:
Act 14:9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
Act 14:10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
May God richly bless you in Jesus’ name. :wave2

II Corinthians 4:7
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

I Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

What satan thinks destroys us; can be turned for good.

Father. Open our eyes to the solution for thesaintman.

yeah...I dunno why I failed to believe on The Lord for a miracle...The Lord can do all things, and He often surprises us with just how far He'll go for His children. I'll pray for healing. :)

I post this for a clarification of my previous post. I do not deny that Jesus Christ is our healer. I do not deny that He can heal a person having Asperger's should He will it.

I do recognize that far from being a curse, Asperger's can be a blessing because it gives people an ability to intensely focus and be given a solution that evades many others. An example of that is the movie about an autistic woman who earned a Ph.D in Animal Science. The movie is called Temple Grandin. Google her name, and you will see her many accomplishments.

The TV series "Bones" is about a woman who exhibits many of the Asperger's behavior characteristics, and I believe that her first name in the show is a tribute to Temple Grandin because her character is named "Temperence".

However, it is also important to note that the genesis of any of the Autism MAY be on the genetic level, and that is why I posted as I did. Here is more information:

The exact cause of Asperger's is unknown. Although research suggests the likelihood of a genetic basis,[1] there is no known genetic cause[10][11] and brain imaging techniques have not identified a clear common pathology.[1] There is no single treatment, and the effectiveness of particular interventions is supported by only limited data.[1] Intervention is aimed at improving symptoms and function. The mainstay of management is behavioral therapy, focusing on specific deficits to address poor communication skills, obsessive or repetitive routines, and physical clumsiness.[12] Most children improve as they mature to adulthood, but social and communication difficulties may persist.[8] Some researchers and people with Asperger's have advocated a shift in attitudes toward the view that it is a difference, rather than a disability that must be treated or cured.[13][14]

That last sentence in what I snipped is the reason why I take the position that I do; it is not a denial of the healing powers of our Great Physician
