Celebrities, I'm sick of them.

Did someone say they hated celebrities? Did someone say they didn't love celebrities? Disliking someone's actions or lifestyle does not mean one hates them. I hate it when a thief steals but I don't hate thieves. This is one common problem in our church today. We point out an error in one's ways and they turn it into themselves.

miley cyrus
britney spears

a 20 year old women that acts like spears is often had the seeds planted as kid and then never learned to stop or was told too.

There have always been celebrities

It depends on how much TV one watches or how many newspapers and magazines one reads

If we got on with living an interesting life ourselves, we probably wouldn't notice all these 'celebrities' :)

I wish that were true. It's not possible to live in the U.S. without any knowledge of this.
I open up yahoo to check my email and it's all over the the front page.
It's in my newspaper. It's in line at the grocery store. It's on commercials. People I interact with talk about it. Etc etc..
Don't make it about us.

I do think these godless people are POW's in life during the war of good vs. evil.

Public Appetites

"As Americans, we make completely insane people into celebrities. I don't get it. What am I missing?"

There's a switch on every TV that makes it go dark instantly.

It solves the problem of "Celebrity" just as quickly.

And if a significant percentage of "Americans" didn't obsess about "Celebrity figures" - the Media wouldn't waste their time on 'em. The Media doesn't waste it's time and money presenting what nobody wants.
