Chips in Debit Cards

I'm not against it,but my cac card is a means of verification it has a pin, allows me entrance into facilities, on Web sites,I can even digitally sign paper with it.yet china has stolen data on soldiers.imagine your driver license being a common acess card.use it vote, open bank accounts, start credit, log in to networks.StoveBolts will recognize this tech.it's old to the military. 12 or more years old.
But with the new chip and pin cards it's a new pin with each transaction.

Not with my use.bank card has them,Sam's card and wells Fargo credit card.
New....new chip and pin cards. That's how they work. It's not a pin that you see or can see. It's all electronic...that's the new secure feature to them. And because most card readers of old only used a small portion of a voice land line to function the new ones are really slow. They have a lot more data going through them. Too much really for the bandwidth they have allocated.

The cards are new.the newest is the Sam's card.less then 2 years old.

The American banks only started issuing these out this past year...before this it was only by request...because of a European visit.
Old cards that have a chip in them are not the same as these NEW cards. Completely different technology. (and pretty much useless)
Mike obviously has a bank that is forcing them out on customers....because the insurance company has demanded it.
the issue is with the store's credit card processing company...5/3 bank is notorious for having the lowest priced processing fees...and the worst customer service machines. And that is part of the issue...the other half of the issue is the phone lines.

And soon I will have to have one of the new cards...we won't be able to keep the old ones...or have a place to use them. I have been getting by with the old card...not for much longer. but soon...yeah...I will be in Mike's shoes.

Should of asked when the movie started lol!
I could just like your post and move on, but I'd have that lingering feeling that I missed the point of a good joke. :chin

Splain yourself for this dim-witted dude. I'll like it anyway, cause I have great expectations. :)

haha, well... you're prolly gonna think I'm an odd cookie. Actually, I am an odd cookie so here goes...
For some odd reason, when I read your post with the cord hanging out the window at the fast food drive through, ... and don't ask me why because it has just dawned on my how abberated my thought had become...
So... Something with the cord hanging out the window reminded me of when you would go to the A and W and they would put your food tray on your window (after you paid them, see.. there's the link)... And for some odd reason, that reminded me of the speaker that used to hang out your window at the drive in while you ate your popcorn.
See, your not so dim witted after all lol!

Hey wait... You don't like the "Like" feature anyway! lol, good one. Now I double dog dare you to click like lol

I got my first chip card last night....
It's for my Christmas/gift account.
(One I use three to four times a year)

Dunno how this will work with it having a chip....I use it online mostly.

We shall see what happens.

Mark of the beast,lol
That has been a concern of mine recently...but a bank card is the least of my concern at the moment.

The moss on this rock is thick and I feel the need for some serious amount of road to wear it off.

I plan on keeping my powder dry and be ready to jump ship at a moment's notice.

Liquidity is the key here....
