Christ didn't die for all

Christ didn't die for all. That's one of the statements people make I completely disagree with. HE died for all - just that some don't care about HIS death and Work on the Cross. HIS Death is of no use to them.

Ok, Classik/Larry:D, show us a scripture that says what you believe is right, that Christ died for all.

The old and new Testament. The verses that support this are numerous.
I don't see how there is any room for discussion, or disagreement.

1 Pet 3:18
For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the Spirit.

Jn 3:16
...That Whosever (which means all of us - unless you want to exclude yourself) believes in HIM...

Isaiah 53:6.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

1 Jn 2:2

He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

Romans 10:13

For whosoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Revelation 22:17
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come, And whosoever will
, let himtake of the water of life freely.

1. Tim 4:10, etc etc etc

I have to concentrate on the match now. If we need more verses....will do that latter. For Now, it is Arsenal 2:2 Newcastle:lol

and don't forget John 3:17: "for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him".

Hi Classik,

I think your avatar needs a smile. So does mine, but I don't know how to work with pictures. Amen to your statements of God's grace. It's when a person rejects the means of his/her salvation that God's holiness has no other alternative but to given him/her what they deserve. Gulp!

All above scriptures are AGAINST what's being stated in OP in that they prove that "there is a condition", unless I misunderstood your point in OP classik!

There is also John 8:24 that says, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

Why would Jesus say we could die in our sins if He died for all?

Only those who believe in Christ and confess Him as Lord have their sins atoned for.

Let's take this analogy: Father Frank Fried Five Fishes For Five Fathers. These Fathers were hungry and Father Frank Fried Five Fishes For the Five of them. But some have refused to eat. They were starved to death. Question is: Did Father Frank not Fry Five Fishes For the Five Fathers??? Some ate while some refused to feed.

Right Classik. Christ died for all. If some refuse His offer of eternal life, it doesn't negate the fact that the offer was made in the first place.

Christ did not die for all without exception.

He died for all without distinction.

Meaning whosoever will, may come: but as He said of some:

Jn 5. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

2 Corinthians 5: 14-15

14 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.Christ died for all believers.
