No, I don't mean that I'm 110% The Ultimate Example of Christian Character, but...

I called my mama, to thank her for something. pleasant convo. basically...she seemed pleasantly surprised by the "thank you" call. Now that I have more memories of who I was, before the shock 'treatments,' etc....

clearly, Jesus is working in my heart of hearts, changing me for the better. Just as importantly (more importantly?), -other people- see the change in me, which...

hopefully, brings glory to Christ and makes their lives a little bit better, too.

and there you have it....mah Praise Report. :-)

I have noticed your posts are changing as well.

More solid and biblical.

Your awesome!

Jesus is transforming you.

thanks. "He's not thru with me yet..." is that the old slogan?

anyway, thanks, seriously. I"m trying to "...put on the mind of Christ..." and also reject worldly wisdom, etc. so...yeah. :-)

thanks for sharing

thanks. on the one hand, its awesome...to be spared, forgiven, "...washed+made clean..," and even...changed, in good, meaningful ways, right here, in this lifetime. on the other hand...

with more memories coming back from the (involuntary) shock 'treatments' and such, its kinda like...well, -all- the good in me comes from Jesus, you know? the before and after is awesome for my family and for me, I hope+pray I'll eventually pour into other peoples' lives and show Christ, to bring Him glory....

but seeing the 'before' can be...not good. im better about handling it, now...I guess The Lord -really- doesn't put more on His children than they/we can handle...

and I try to remember: "there is now, then, no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus..." (paraphrase), but...

still, not pleasant. oh well. "...put aside what is behind and press forward..." and "...take up your plow and push forward..." (both paraphrases), and...for those times when ugly memories of who I was, what I was about, etc. hit...

"...godly sorrow worketh repentance..."
