Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (KJV)

I see two wonderful Truth's here in Galatians 2:20. This has been one of my favorite verses in the whole Bible.

First, notice that We have been crucified with Jesus. The result of that mystery is that now I have Someone else living in me. it's the Son of God, in the presence of His Holy Spirit. O the wonder of that transfer from the cross to share the throne of His Father to, thru His Spirit, to indwell our very lives.

This verse tells me, that since the Holy Spirit lives in me because of my new birth experience by believing and trusting in Christ Jesus as my Master Owner, Jesus lives in me. Now, what would be the greatest action of our lives as a result of this change in us? It, IMO, would be a great love that I would extend to my Brothers and Sisters in the Lord.

Now, if in some way, I offend or disrespect my Brother or Sister, in reality, I'm offending and disrespecting Jesus Christ Who lives in that person. That reality is so often neglected, especially in Forums like this one when heated debates go on when there is a disagreement of theology. Friends, this ought not to be....

1John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
4:21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

The second wonderful Truth is...I live by the faith of the Son of God. Hey, I don't have, in myself, very much faith. So, what happens when great faith is needed on my part to call upon my Heavenly Father for a miracle? The answer is in a close examination of the wording of this verse. "I live by the faith of the Son of God".

Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (ESV)

Notice the difference in the KJV and the ESV. The KJV has the correct translation because it puts the definite article "the" before "faith" so that means it reads as I live by THE faith of THE Son of God. Where as the ESV and many other translations read, I live by faith in the Son of God.

What am I saying? I have little faith as a human. BUT, Jesus has all faith and gives it as a gift. That all started when I wanted to be saved, I received the gift of faith from the grace of God to believe in Jesus.

So my friends. When we disagree with a Brother or Sister on this great Forum, lets keep in mind that, not only is Christ in me, and listens what come out of our hearts and typing, and He also is in the one we are corresponding with. We really should be very careful how we respond to that other person because we are also addressing Jesus Who is in that other person.

I live by THE faith of THE Son of God.

YES.
Jesus gets all the credit for what He alone provided on a CROSS.

""""oh crimson is the flow
that MAKES ME WHITE AS SNOW (sinless)
no other fount i know
nothing but the BLOOD of Jesus"""

"""" Oh the Blood of Jesus...
Oh the Blood of Jesus...
Oh the Blood of Jesus..
IT MAKE ME WHITE AS SNOW""""....(sinless).

"""""My hope (Faith) is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand."""""

"""All of him and none of me
is how God's salvation sets me free
Its only Christ's blood that makes me whole
Its only Christ's blood that saved my soul"""

I just feel this reality is so disregarded in today's world. We actually don't know who is born again and have the Holy Spirit in them. We can try and become fruit inspectors Galatians 5:22-23, but we are being transformed into the image of Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:18.

This transformation doesn't happen overnight, but it does happen at some point.

I wouldn't want someone to purposefully blaspheme the Holy Sprit like the Pharisees did in Matthew 12:24, when they thought it was a demon spirit in Jesus.

1Peter 4:7 but the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
1Peter 4:8 and above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
1Peter 4:9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
1Peter 4:10 as every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
1Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

“Ding! Ding! Round One”. This is what you hear when two fighters get into the ring to face off in a battle of who is the superior one. Unfortunately this is what is happening between Gods children as Christians are squaring off as trying to be the superior one in the word of God, but yet should ever be learning, 2Timothy 3:7. Love and humbleness is now being replaced with anger and hostility towards each other as many love to argue and debate the word of God according to what they believe and choose to condemn those who are not in agreement with them.

We as a Christian have all been given the same gifts from God and those gifts are to be used to lift up and edify one another. The greatest gift of all is the gift of love that we should be displaying as a Christian to help draw all others unto Christ by allowing the love of Christ shine through us. Many people say they have accepted Christ, but by the fruits of their mouth God will judge their heart and condemn those who have only mirrored the words of repentance as they condemn themselves by what comes out of their mouths, Matthew 7:21.

It’s not this evil world or even the ruler of darkness that we need to be concerned about as this world will wax worse and worse, but we need to be concerned about how we are representing Christ to the world. There is an old saying that goes something like this that you can catch more flies with honey then you can with vinegar and if we want to draw those lost souls to the honey, or to the love of Christ, then we must display Christ in us and through us by allowing the love of Christ shine out to others, 2Corinthians 4:4; 1John 1:7.

What does it mean to be in Christ?
What happen at the Cross?
Who is Jesus Christ?
What did Jesus accomplish on the Cross at Calvary?
What is the resurrection life?
How do we receive the promises (benefits) of God by being in Christ?
How does the Holy Spirit work in my life now that I am in Christ?

If we say that the Spirit of Christ is in us, then do we declare that the Spirit of Christ has come.

So if the Spirit of Christ is in you, why would you then look for the coming of "another" Christ?
