Words are so easy to puke out and paint with a human brush of acceptance, and most lies and deceptions are not grossly portrayed as being a trap, otherwise who would enter. The simple fact of the matter is that once one disregards the Holy Spirit of God and instead chooses a path that feels right to the flesh, the bait is set, the hook is dangled, and the wait for a swallow is on. Only those who live by their foolish perceptions of the flesh are caught, hook, line, and sinker.

Words are so cheap and meaningless apart from the truth.

"Also I say unto you.... Whosoever shall confess me before men, Him shall the Son of Man also confess before the Angels of God..... "(my first memory verse) !!!

The point us "New Agers" have to make is that there is value in other spiritual traditions and good fruits to be had for the peacemakers.

In fact I had a Muslim help me on my homework last week!!!

I dont want ot believe and dont believe 95 percent of the world population is hellbound.

Thats a false doctrine but the one that mainstream denoms hold fast to with a rabid fervor.
You are only accepting the doctrines of the Word of God that back your position, and you deny the rest. You and the New Age movement of Universalists are not teaching the truth to those who are lost, but instead you are hugging them accepting their beliefs until they die and go into condemnation because of their rejection of the truth. You will pay a greater price for not teaching truth than you even know.

Jesus said,"Enter ye in at the strait F14 gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Matthew 7:12-14

Well any denomination does this!

The SDA use scripture to reveal the Truth of the Seventh Day.

The Baptists stress the importance of being Born Again.

Charismatics use the Holy Word to get the point across that we need the Holy Spirit.

You and the New Age movement of Universalists are not teaching the truth to those who are lost, but instead you are hugging them accepting their beliefs until they die and go into condemnation because of their rejection of the truth.

Consider this.

Do you honestly believe that no souls have been saved according to the Chrstian Criteria by a Universalist minister or movement?

Many people are saved by the Knowledge of a God that "will not let the gates of Hell prevail".

Believing as the New Agers and Universalists do does not take away from the central point of the Gospel which is the Crucifixtion and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ!

If anything it amplifies His MERCY and GRACE.

You will pay a greater price for not teaching truth than you even know.

Jesus is the greatest spiritual teacher to have ever existed and no man comes before Him in my eyes.

This is my belief which I share with others but I do not rule out the "still small voice" of the Holy Spirit in other religious traditions guiding man to Truth.

Jesus said,"Enter ye in at the strait F14 gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

Your comment in previous post was that you did not want to believe and that you do not believe that 95% of the world's population is hellbound.

Jesus said that few find the way that leads to life.
So I suggest that you go into the world and teach the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and not some frilly, fuzzy, ear tickling lies of the New Age that will keep people in bondage of condemnation. The truth of the Word of God teaches that one must repent, reject their former lifestyle of sin and darkness, and believe that Jesus Christ lived, died, and resurrected from the dead, and then follow him. Don't follow Jesus on your idea of what Jesus is, but on what the Word of God teaches about Jesus in the fullness of its content. When one is born again, one has the Holy Spirit to guide him. The Bible says not to quench the Spirit but instead to Walk in the Spirit.

Teach and live the truth so that others may see Jesus in your life, and not the screwed up lies of satan's New Age garbage.

I didn't believe that my dad was Santa Clause in 4th grade. But I was wrong...I wouldn't believe. Don't worry Soma-Sight, you won't drop dead 5 minutes away from discovering the truth...unless you choose to reject it.

"Don't follow Jesus on your idea of what Jesus is" Solo this is your advice and you should follow it, your idea of Jesus is too narrow. You need to follow what the Bible says and when you find the truth maybe you will rejoice and be happy.

Solo,

Just letting you know that I am leaving this forum. My reason for leaving is not really important in the sense that you may not understand that reason for quite a while and that it would consequently not make sense to you now at any rate. If ever, however, you will understand that reason "of your own accord," it may have a meaning for you which it cannot have now.

Maybe a week or so ago things were said in this thread which were like the drop which made the proverbial bucket flow over for me and made me decide not to post here any more. Soma, however, just posted words which I know to be true and since I also know ... even if your way differs from my way ... that you truly love our Father in the best way you can, I merely enter this last post to reiterate Soma's words as my last gift to you.

12 All things, therefore, whatever ye may will that men may be doing to you, so also do to them, for this is the law and the prophets. 13 `Go ye in through the strait gate, because wide [is] the gate, and broad the way that is leading to the destruction, and many are those going in through it; 14 how strait [is] the gate, and compressed the way that is leading to the life, and few are those finding it!
15 But, take heed of the false prophets, who come unto you in sheep's clothing, and inwardly are ravening wolves. Matthew 7:12-15

Some people have a hard time getting off of the broad and wide path for a myriad of personal reasons, but the key reason is that it is difficult for them to give up the throne of their heart to the one and only God, Jesus Christ.

Listen to the Holy Spirit, for many are the spirits that guide mankind away from the truth of Jesus Christ.

Hopefully you will find your way onto the strait and narrow path in your submission to the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Solo it seems your teaching is from the anti Christ because your idea of Christianity drives people away from Chrsitianity. If you drive many people away from the love of our Lord, the most sacred heart of Jesus that is not going to make you closer to him. I know a mind filled with pain wants to inflict pain on others, and a mind filled with love, joy and the presence of God wants to spread love and joy experienced. Please feel God's presence and talk about his joy.

soma,

If people are driven away by Solo's idea of Christianity, it doesn't mean that it is anti-Christ, especially since Christ stated that the way was broad to destruction. This means that a majority of people will reject Christ and not be with him, ever. Many followers even left Jesus during his ministry because they found his teachings hard.

Religion or rigorous practice can't be applied with pressure and intimidation because that only brings force and violence, not wisdom so it must be fulfilled with reason, debate and intuition. When religion is left to the conviction and conscience of every person, then one can achieve a balance in this world between positive and negative, good and evil, and also between pleasure and pain. If religion brings fear, hatred, separation or anything that will frighten a child, it is probably not a true practice. Religion should bring reverence and respect for everyone and everything, and it should also not be bent for the rich and powerful.

So what do you think of Christ's words that he came not to bring peace but a sword?

Jesus came to change attitudes and teach love.
For a Christian, one answer is to "turn the other cheek"...To Peter, and to you and me, Jesus said: "Put your sword back in its place", because Jesus will bring the sword, Jesus will take care of you, because “vengeance is mine,†says the Lord (Mat.5:39, 26:52, Rom.12:19).

Some people want to fight and pick fights all the time because they have a hard time talking about peace, love, kindness, tolerance and God's joy. They should experience the positive aspects of God so they can talk about something positive.
