Christians and Internet Pornography Statistics,I have a question?.

Current statistics(prevailing) show that 68% of christian men view pornograhy,50% for church pastors.76% of young christian people 18-24 search porn sties,87% of christian women have view porn.69% of pastors say that pornography has adversely impacted their congregations.
How true do you all think that these statistics are?.Please pray for me,because I myself have broken away from viewing Internet Pornography. If these statistics are true, why aren't church leaders addressing the issue openly?.We all know of the evil wrapped up into the production of pornography, why not?,...rape,trafficking,moral degradation, exploiting broken lives, causing broken lives, drug addiction, the drugging of participants, and tricked into being filmed, etc.Ive had this question on my mind for awhile now,I'm curious of what insight you all might have.Anyway that we help wreck this industry, deprive the string pullers of millions to billions of dollars, and cause them to hate us more would be a good thing,Ha Ha.

I am a believer in spouse porn.

I am not to lust after anyone but my spouse so to help keep me on the right track, my spouse provides my visual entertainment.

The statistics are probably not quite accurate; they're likely slightly worse, since it's self-reported data and there is much shame involved. Pornography is definitely something that church leaders need to be addressing, but if half or more of them are viewing it themselves, then maybe they're not doing it so as not to feel like hypocrites.

There are a number of organizations out there that are fighting pornography. You can also see if you can join with them in some way.

My question does sort of of answer itself doesn't it?,interesting. It goes to prove that the "Son of Dawn" is hard at work in our churches. How do you expose a lie,if you live the lie?.Okay, that's enough,we all need to pray fervently on this issue, for ourselves, and the people involved in the industry.

This world in which we are no longer a part of being that we are in Christ and He in us as we seek those things from above know that this world will wax worse as man loves darkness more than the Light and all we can do while walking this earth is to be about our Fathers business and take the Gospel message out to all who will have ears to hear.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

If Pastors would remind folks of..

Romans 8:12-13
12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

.. there might be a lot less sin within the church.

We do have that obligation Paul spoke of, and must overcome, or be overcome.

We must Pray for the pastors and do our part.
God Bless

I dunno 🤷‍♂️

It’s complicated. Wheat and tares all go to church together. Not all who go into a church are Christians just like going into a garage doesn’t mean you must be a car.
