Jesus did more than stand up for His rights...
He died for what He believed since the rulers of the day were against Him.

uhm, no he didn't. he was INNOCENT of any charge given and simply put to death for a crime he didn't commit. that is hardly standing up for his rights. He also didn't judge anyone at the time, save the Pharisees which if you really listen, they could have repented. some did. see the book of acts where it mentions it.

while i am not a fan of mocking Jesus, I also don't believe it should be a crime. if you don't want to hear it, don't watch any show that does that or listen to a song. if a person is saying it front of you then tell them but also be aware our mocking of their gods will be seen the same.

which will then seque in political correctness , just in Christian favor. before this, It might have been bad to openly mock Jesus but those that didn't believe in him, hardly were gonna follow Jesus because that moray, if laws converted the lost, the cross wouldn't be necessary.

I took that to mean that she was saying Jesus died believing that He was the Son of God and He came to earth saving His Sons and daughters but I could be wrong. Anyways I agree with you on that other thing you said though. I've just grown sick and tired of counting the sins of others. I don't like hearing our Lord's name in vain either but I'm more concerned that I don't do it myself as well as trying not to break the other nine commandments as well.

In the Garden of Gethsemene, He knew His death would come the next day. He didn't run from it....He rode triumphantly into Jerusalem...the city where He would die for His ministry.

if I may there are plenty of athiests and other faiths that simply don't want socialized medicine. I wasn't saved and I was admanant against that years ago.

While I'm,not for persecution but,well honestly ,its why the church is dead in America and the west.theres no,real reason to be a Christian as we have prosperity.I,built myself says our potus,others .no,God blessed that hands,and mind .

Until,we see that it will be the same dead church ,where lip service is granted and the god of dollar is worshiped in reality .

Its sad I can get more support outside of church then in,the church .if I posted on,fb I want to take my,life ,vets would be at my door .they do more to handle that then the church,that doesn't mean no church is involved as I know two that do help but without that network of vets ,there wouldn't be outside if source of aid for the homeless as much,upward against poverty is ran by a Christian but isnt a ministry .they came after the source ,which was after the Vietnam vets who helped first .

I was talking about Jehovah Witness and a few others who took a hard line stance against blood transfusions, immunizations, antibiotics, and organ donation... basically against basic medical care. I wasn't talking about socialized medicine.
