25 ish or so years ago I thought I wanted to be an accountant. My private college teacher was Catholic and had spent time as a Nun, but couldn't fight her biological urges so she stopped being a Nun, but was very active in her faith as was her husband and child.wouldn't think Christians are ignorant of the ways of Christ, but just to lazy to know what His ways are. One day she asked the class what we thought the church taught on sex before marriage. I raised my hand and said I thought God would be ok with it as long as they really loved one another.
Sometimes things aren't always that straight forward and sometimes we're just blinded to the truth for whatever reason it may be. But I also think that our lack of humilty, or put another way we might say our pride prevents our eyes from seeing Gods truth.
