You,rebuild all that but won't turn the meter back on,by,simply turning it back from,a slant ?

The house only had thin aluminum from the meter to the breaker box. I upgraded the aluminum cable to copper 2 ot so I could run 200 amp.
I admit it, I was terrified looking inside the meter box once the meter was removed. The upper portion is hot directly from the pole.

25 ish or so years ago I thought I wanted to be an accountant. My private college teacher was Catholic and had spent time as a Nun, but couldn't fight her biological urges so she stopped being a Nun, but was very active in her faith as was her husband and child.

One day she asked the class what we thought the church taught on sex before marriage. I raised my hand and said I thought God would be ok with it as long as they really loved one another.

Sometimes things aren't always that straight forward and sometimes we're just blinded to the truth for whatever reason it may be. But I also think that our lack of humilty, or put another way we might say our pride prevents our eyes from seeing Gods truth.

Hey,I got my meter in right side up!
I pulled the wire from the box to the meter, but fear kept me from making the connection. I'm glad I had a seasoned electrition and it took both of us to manhandle the new copper in place. JohnDB can tell you about that...
I could do one by myself now. It was just a fear factor. The work is straight forward.

It's really rather funny how my mind sometimes likes to still play tricks on me. Thank God we aren't saved by what goes on in there because sometimes it isn't pretty and even though they really are so miniscule anymore,.. I find my mind with thoughts trying to fight the fact that I'm not truly saved and that I'm not going to Heaven because Jesus doesn't know me. A lot of the time I think that the mind is really controlled by the devil. For he is the one who wants me to feel that way, but I already know that he's a liar because I believe in my heart in the Risen one and so that's what truly determines my salvation.

There is no place in the Bible that constitutes having to have a marriage license. Man incorporated this into the law. In the Hebrew tradition a mohar or dowry was paid to the father of the bride by the groom in exchange for the daughter, Exodus 22:17. Genesis 2:23-25 explains the bond of marriage. The two are united as one in the eyes of God.
