Christ's red sweat.

Luke 22:44 NKJV

44 And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

I think there must be a reason why the bible mentioned this incident: Christ sweat was like drops of blood. This signifies something. There is a message in it.

(Although I've not seen a similar result from the medical world where someone's sweat was red in color)

A head wound is the worst as the head bleeds more than the rest of the body when injured and when Jesus was praying he knew the worst that was ahead of him and for an instant fear (Satan) had entered in to torment him and caused his body to sweat as he agonized over what was about to happen, but prayed Gods will be done as God filled him with His strength.

The real spiritual battle we have against the world, the flesh, and the devil, is the same one that Christ had when he became a man.
Its all in your head.
All the struggles, the temptations, ....all these spiritual battles occur right behind your forehead, and that is exactly where Christ dripped the blood and wore the thorny crown of sorrow and pain.
He was resisting his flesh to the point that blood squirted out as sweat.
He was literally bleeding mentally down his face from the struggle he was having in his mind, heart, and spirit.

Have you ever wanted to do something so badly that was so wrong and you knew it, that it was like being torn inside to resist it?
Christ knew what was coming, and his humanity was rebelling against this dire straights knowledge to the point that blood was rolling off his forehead and pouring into his eyes from the strain of his final decision.
He asked God his Father 3 times to let the cup of Judgement pass.
He prayed frantically for about 3 hours regarding this decision.
And his final decision was to accept the will of God, and this decision was literally pouring blood out of his mental agony.
So, he not only suffered the scourging and the Cross, he mentally suffered horribly in Gethsemane even before they came to get him.
When Judas kissed to betray the Son of Man in that garden, its likely that the blood of Christ got on Judas's lips as Christ had been
sweating blood for a while.

Thanks for your replys. I believe anything recorded in the bible has a particular significance, spiritual significance, maybe.
