I just bought a new coffee roaster, the Gene Cafe, made in South Korea, sold everywhere.
It receives great reviews and is an upgrade for me.

Now I can continue to roast all my favorite coffees from around the world just the way I like them.

I've discovered that people from different regions of the country like their coffee differently.
Being from Boston, I like my coffee dark roasted.
I find a lot of people from here in Florida like their coffee medium roasted.
My friends from New York and Maine like my dark roast.

How do you like your coffee and do you have any favorite coffees?

For me, Yemen is the best but with the Yemen government in turmoil, their coffee is all but gone from the market.

My pastor brought me a pound of Dark Roasted from Nigeria and it was, hands down, the strongest coffee I have ever enjoyed without Chickory. I didn't pay attention to the brand name before grinding it and I messed up... bad!

I'm obsessed with iced coffee. I get it made, I make it at home, on and on it goes. Not really all that gourmet w/ my coffee selection. I buy Dunkin Donuts ground coffee to make at home...standard house blend...and that's fancy for my tastes. I just don't like the way many other brands taste when iced.

Actually, I think the best coffee I've had was a Moloka'i peaberry.

I'm making coffee right now, New England coffee, house blend, I bought while on vacation.
Tastes good.

Cheap Costco style. Two heaping tbsps coffee grounds per carafe, and I have no idea if its good, or just something set out to destroy my sleep and stomach. :lol

Six years of navy coffee taught me what really bad coffee is. I don't know what that stuff was, but at least it kept me awake while on night watches.

Eight years in the service and the best Government Coffee I had was made in a Number Ten Can, boiled the grounds for five minutes, grabbed a handful of snow and put it in to settle the grounds, wait about sixty seconds and pour. At three or four in the morning and it is actually delicious.

Mess Hall Coffee? Mess Hall Biscuits are not the only thing in the Mess Hall that kills!
