Coffee!!

I have a coffee POT, not my wife's, not a group, or company pot,- MY POT-. I am a generous person so most any one may share my Coffee. BUT, IT IS MY COFFEE FROM MY POT you drink it the way I made it!!! Problem solved!

I like 1full coffee scoop for each 5 cups. Just short of the bitter taste.

One level coffee scoop is 16 oz., or 2 cups.
Your coffee must be mild and watery.
If you want your coffee to taste good, you have to use good coffee and then it won't be bitter.

Tea is wonderful, isn't it Jethro? I normally don't like watered down tea either, but this Irish breakfast tea was really really strong. I must have let it steep too long. What does everyone else think of tea?

I do likes tea.
I prefer strong black tea, but I also struggle with heartburn. It will light me up after a couple of days. So I'm a green tea drinker.

Wow RevSRE if you tasted mine it would make ya run 10 miles in warp speed. I use 1/4 scoop 2 and a half for 4 cups of course it is a small 4 cup coffee pot.

Some time if your coffee is on the edge of tasting burnt and ya just cant see wasting it .. a nice dash of cinnamon covers the burnt taste

In my old age, maybe 10 years ago, I discovered French Vanilla Coffee Mate. Since then I have discovered the love my dad had for Coffee, Sweet Cream and dump the sugar.

Dad's Coffee Mug had no top but was a ceramic mug of about 12 ounces. He would be drinking that cup for up to an hour or more and I never understood why. With Sugar, Baby Coffee, if it cools it needs trashed or poured on the ground. With nothing but cream or creamer, it never changes it's flavor. It is just as good cold as it is steaming hot.

Thank you. This is just my point EVERY ONE has their own way of making coffee they like. I drive a truck 48 states 70hr a week. IF I am awake I am drinking coffee. I have a mix strength that works for me. BLACK!
I hope every one has their coffee JUST THE WAY THEY LOVE It.

I kinda like tea. It's The Bible Belt, so you can almost always get sweet, iced tea. Good times. Don't care for green tea (I do take green tea extract, though). Rooibos/red tea...good times. I think its actually an herbal tea, but its smooth and naturally sweet....no caffeine, no tannins, refreshing.

I've taken to strong coffee with half n half and either flavored syrup or sugar. Some brands I can make extra strong, allow to cool, and then drink over ice later in the day. Not to be a coffee snob, but...sadly, it seems to be the somewhat higher end coffees than can be taken iced. I dunno...I watched a short TV program on coffee, and the major brands use a lot of Robustica coffee beans, which saves them $$$ but can=acrid coffee for the consumer. Sad times :-(
