Hey Everyone. I recently took a break from college. Now I've applied for a grant and I will probably get it. But I need prayer that my mother will not lay an egg. Meaning, that she won't get upset at me for trying again. I know in my heart of hearts that the Lord wants me to get a college education. I took a break because I had to basically teach myself Math and I wasn't good at it and it overwhelmed me... But I have to pick myself up and try again. Please pray that everything will work out. Thanks so much!

Have you looked into scholarship money online? Without paying a fee to a service to find scholarship money, you can search for additional assistance for higher education which can help towards books, fees, tuition... some do not require a specific purpose, so could be used towards transportation & housing. It's worth a search!

I am waiting to see if I will receive a pell grant or not. If I do not get it, I won't be going to college. :\ I have a bit of anxiety about it, because its hard to wait.

Well, it says in Revelation that the Lord opens doors and shuts doors. We need to keep praying dependently that we will always be in the current of His will. "Thy will be done'.

ok what be your major?

Since I am going to school online, the safest option for me personally is to go for an Associates in General Business. I have had 3 classes online (that I payed for myself) so far this year and I aced them all! This degree is so that I can stand on my own two feet- get my foot in the door so to speak. I really don't want to go thousands of dollars in debt for a Bachelors. Debt is bad! I may transfer to a University after all this, but it's too soon to set anything in stone. We'll see what happens.

I did a bunch of searching yesterday for scholarships and I applied to some of them. We'll see!

I hope the Lord opens the door for you for college, if it's His will.

But if not, in my experience, if the Lord closes one door, He opens another.
