[ Testimony ] Coming out of Darkness: Ex-Homosexual

Shalom everyone!

My wife and I have just moved forward in our ministry and will begin our first group session with those who struggle with same-sex attraction. Prayers welcomed!

My wife and I both have been redeemed from homosexuality (for 6 years) and have been married for 3 and a half years. It took a lot of preparation from the Lord before He allowed us to move forward in full action.

To share both our testimonies would take up a lot of writing space, so I am adding a link to our website where you can view our testimonies on video. We are on Facebook as well. Link deleted per ToS rule 2:10.

We are also interested in traveling to other churches in the Midwest to share our testimonies and how the Lord revealed His truth to us about our lifestyle. We have come into the Kingdom for such a time as this! Our purpose is to expose the lies of the enemy regarding homosexuality and to share the word of God in truth and in love. The Lord has set the path before us to share how, by the blood of Jesus, we have been redeemed and set free from the homosexual lifestyle.

Please check out our website and pass the word along. Also, if you feel led to, we are in need of donations for supplies, books, paper, etc. Most importantly, prayer is needed. The enemy sure does try to rise up against those who speak the truth of God's word and those who do not comprise the word of God.

Your ministry is so needed in this hour. God has put a tough calling on your life, but I pray that you see it through until you one day hear these words: Well done, My good and faithful servant.
 
Sorry for violating the board rules regarding my links. But thank you all for your responses and prayers! It's much appreciated! The enemy definitely has tried to show his ugly face. But through Jesus, we have been given power over the enemy and we know how his story ends :) Amen! God is faithful to complete the work which He started and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Thanks again, everyone!
 
Be warned that the world will strike back against you. The preferred secular narrative now is that homosexual tendencies can't be changed with therapy and ministry.

Good luck to you. I pray for you and your wife, and for your ministry.

Now this whole post upsets me, and not the saving homosexuals part.

I agree with you. Some 'professions' explain that it is parts of ones DNA; the OP clearly shows this not to be.
Anyway, I pray for both of you and your ministry and that the crucial work that you do is fulfilling.

I read the terms of service, this is why in my previous post I was vague and veered onto prayer.

Hi Ricky, and welcome to christianfourms. If you wouldn't mind I'd be interested in how you or your wife moved past your homosexual atractions. If you could say a few words in the Christian Talk & Advice section that'd be great.

I would actually like to know more about your ministry, and wish the links weren't removed. Can you please PM me the links to your ministry website so I can check it out? Unless that is also against the TOS. :neutral
 
Oh what a joy to see this post! I have been praying for blessed people such as you and your wife to rise up. I it takes so much faith and courage to do this and I commend you. May God bless you and be with you and help you reach those you can understand with the truth like a sword!
