Conspiracty Theories V2

I started a thread "Conspiracy Theories" with a simple post containing a kooky (and likely fake) video that I was using to comment on just how stupid things can get.

But I turned my back, and had to fly to Michigan for work - and I come back on here and what do I find? That someone(s) here ruined my thread with nonsense about HAARP being an earthquake-inducing weather control program. :screwloose

I guess I should have known better than to even mention such nonsense, but I THOUGHT I was making a point about how stupid this kind of thinking is.

I guess not.

If you don't know what something is about, how about LEARNING SOMETHING ABOUT PHYSICS AND SCIENCE? A rudimentary education in basic physics would help you to understand that HAARP cannot alter weather, heat the atmosphere (to any extent) or make earthquakes.

Simple physics and math, people. 3.6 million watts sounds like a lot of power, but it's not nearly enough to move tectonic plates or part the oceans. :toofunny

I'm not really mad, but I sure am disappointed in one or two of you.
The ToS says (and I agree) that we cannot discuss CT's. All I wanted to do was illustrate how such 'thinking' can take us right off the intellectual cliff.

I saw the 'heart' of your thread Pizza and got a good laugh... but what happened to the thread sure makes the point of why we say no :sad

For a mockery conspiracy thread to work, everyone on the site would all have to believe that all conspiracy theories are absurd and fake so no one would take it seriously and no arguments would start.

hell pguy the local nuke plants can max out with 2.25 mega watts and that wont do crap.
I spent today at D.C. Cook Nuclear (Just outside of St. Joesph, Michigan) - they were running both reactors and putting just over 2.3 megawatts into the lines.
Where do YOU live?

Thanks, Reba.

Knowing the rules myself, it was dumb of me to get as involved as I did in the discussion. Shoulda just left it alone after it started to go sour.

i live In florida , near st. lucie one and two nuclear reactors. while not within eye sight. im about twenty miles north of them.
