Controversial theory!!!

You were Baptized in a Eastern Orthodox Church there is no reason I can think of that you can not get the Christian basics , the milk of the word from servants of God there , they will help you .
So you think different nominations aren't the problem
I'm asking since I heard some hold misinformation simply said
I understand the basics I'm trying to learn further

Then read the BIBLE ! Then read it again and again .
In some point of your life you learned Christianity is the way
I'm still learning you fail to understand that
I am trying to learn and understand the enemy ≠ theories

Problem is I'm an introvert and I know basically no people that are truly devoted to christ
I guess that there's no way to wrongly follow him but how would I even knew if they really get it or they are also misinformed
Do you know any YouTube channel that seem to be genuine and which nomination you find most closest to truly following lords word
I'm somewhat on the "introvert" side, as well, and this can sadly create the "Lone Ranger" syndrome. God certainly does not hate "hermits," but He has seemed to want most of us to thrive within society, not being afraid to experience a little adversity.

Read your Bible, and then check out some of the historic commentaries, which are on-line. But you need to search around or even move to find an on-fire group of Christians.

As I said, no Christian, and no Christian group, is perfect. But there is something called "doctrinal orthodoxy," and there is something called "Christian love" that you need to become very familiar with. It will come with time and practice. Read your Bible. Listen to a little Christian preaching on radio, on TV, or on line.

Talk to God all the time. Try to keep your love alive. Escape from those who drag you down. Be patient--God hears every single prayer you pray, and unlike us, never forgets. Things will happen in God's time and in God's way. I trust Him to do this for you.

I appreciate your answer
Senior Christians also have this detest I think for confused and doubtful people
I can see how it might be frustrated that there is doubt of something you stand so strongly on but everyone was a "newbie" at some point
I don't see how questions are to be detested and shunned rather than answered and explained
There are two parts of belief I think, belief in your heart and in your mind
You feel the connection to God but also understand it in order to open your eyes

I'm not sure what "the theory" is?
My fear that cross may be the mark and/or idolatry
I intended to explain it in text, not greatly though
I got or found many theories of the mark that make much more sense, this is least plausible one but I'm pretty terrifyed with the mark thing in general

Also why do you think orthodoxy will fall under the beast
I'm not disagreeing just the input
The entire beast and mark thing is so confusing to me either way
As I indicated, this is the pattern of the fallen world since Adam. We begin strong, and the majority trail off or fade away in compromise. Even Christians end up capitulating to their carnal desires, unless there is a source of strong encouragement to stand.

So it was predictable that Israel would fall into apostasy, despite their call to righteousness and to serve God alone. This is the pattern we've seen in the Christian world.

European Christianity has had strong Christian revivals, but there is a constant falling away that has been experienced by all of the historic Christian nations and denominations. So expect to be disillusioned. But our ministry is one of reconciliation and reformation. We will always need to pursue spiritual revival in chuches that tend to decline over time.

So if Israel fell, so will Christian nations. This is predicted in the book of Daniel, who showed, by example, how Israel divided between the orthodox and the compromising Hellenists. And Antiochus 4 came in from Syria to encourage the Hellenists, and ended up torching the orthodox.

This is what happened to Israel, divided as it became. And this is how Daniel also portrays the fate of Israel over the long run, eventually facing 10 kingdoms/nations under the power of an Antichrist. Being an Antichrist one can see that he will rule over former Christians nations in Europe, because Antichristianity started in Europe with Rome, the 4th Kingdom mentioned by Daniel in chs. 2 and 7.

So who won't fail in your opinion
Pardon me if you explained yet I don't understand which is probable
Are you suggesting the orthodox nomination doesn't hold strong pillars itself as well as some others and which one you think does

Don't be too put off by anybody here questioning your sincerity. God has set authorities up to test things to ensure others are protected against trolls and trouble-makers. I can imagine they have a lot on their plate, and can be expected to be skeptical.

You know who you are, and God knows who you are. I greatly respect your ability to stand up and speak out even as a "newbie." You have a lot going for you in this regard.

Put up with a little "disbelief," or "skepticism," I suggest. For every one who is sincere, as you appear to be, there are brilliant "fakes." So there has to be this "testing" process.

The word you're looking for is "denomination"--not "nomination." Jesus said that the path is wide that leads to destruction, and many go down that way.

He said this to Jews, who were "God's People." He could very well have been saying this to Christians, as well, who over time largely slip back into subtle forms of paganism.

In a nutshell, people are weak. We are *all* weak! We need to pray and seek the help of fellow Christians. We need to find ways to strengthen ourselves spiritually, and to take measures to avoid pitfalls.

But being that people are weak overall, we can expect most churches and denominations to fail over time. The majority swallow up or suppress the minority of good Christians, accusing them of "narrow-mindedness" or "judgmentalism." Churches split and reformations/reivals are needed.

Biblical Prophecy has anticipated that this problem with human weakness will result in an endtimes scenario, in which the Antichrist is worshiped across the world. 10 former Christian nations of European origin will, I believe, come to follow the Antichrist as "Christian law" is suppressed, and other religions are made equal to Christianity.

Those who don't follow are those who follow the biblical mandate to "be wise." I hope that's all of us here and anywhere else that solid Christian teaching is encouraged. We should not get too emotional over peripheral differences, or arguments over ceremony.

Would simply following the Bible and Biblical celebrations without the certain denonin be the answer?
Also how can I be sure to detest gnostic theories, I seek to understand the root of it being wrong to freely follow Christ

Begin a daily regimen of some kind--everybody is different, and there is no "ideal" form of religion for every individual. Some, like my brother, love to pray formally. I pray while walking---really, all the time. I don't do as well with formal prayer, but I choose to make myself do it.

Some really good Christians rarely read the Bible on a regular basis. I am an avid reader of the Bible and similar materials. Some study cults--I used to listen to Walter Martin who had a radio show, the "Bible Answerman," and he regularly answered questions on cults and false religions. It was quite an education for me at the time!

Gnosticism isn't really understood so well, because their writings in the Early Church were destroyed. But we know they were elaborate systems that were a sort of two-headed monster, joining a form of Christianity to a form of myth and paganism.

Being separated from orthodox doctrine, the form of the religion became more important than the spirit of the religion. It was not really "Christian" in reality.

You would have to read the early Church Fathers to understand Gnosticism and its problems better. But this is difficult and very old material. I certainly wouldn't recommend it as "reading material" for most Christians.

You will have to trust God to guide you. The Spirit is there for you--much better than I or anybody else can be for you. But people are good too when they properly hear what the Spirit is saying.
