I want to note that I am very confused and what I'm writing is something I don't want to believe and I'm looking for answers, NOT writing against Christianity, on the contrary, I wish to debunk this doubt
Recently I saw I video regarding Gnosticism
Also just recently found out about mark of the beast
I always considered myself a Christian but I just started really being engaged in my religion and truly learning about it
Which brings me to many questions and doubts about what is right
I was learning towards completely surrendering to the lord than terryfilng video found me about Gnosticism, awakening my doubts and fears
Long story short, to put it simply, it says that God that we know it isn't the real God but a demierge
My interpretation of the theory is that we were non biological souls and a false God fell and trapped us in a mortal world in a shape of human form of flesh
It says that he wants to rule therefore asks for complete obedience of humans and that the true God wouldn't ask for that yada yada
Which brings us to the mark of the beast which I briefly suspected to be islam
The sign they wear on forehead and right hand translates to 666 and their method is beheading that is said Wil crush upon us before the rapture
Also makes sense that the mark would be giving up on God and transitioning to another religion and following false prophet Muhammad that they say will be back
I found myself thinking a horrifying thought that what if, God forgive me, Jesus was the prophet, he was mortaly wounded and got back to life that we thank the God for
We follow him because of that and we accepted cross
What if cross is the mark, if gnostic were right
We use are right hand during prayer and there is the act of drawing a cross on our forehead
What if we pleaged our aleagance (I can't spell it English is my second language) to a demierge, by that unable to break free and go to the true god
Which would also make sense wearing a symbol that was in a way symbol of doom (of christ)
I find it hard to put everything to words because it feels like blasphemy writing this

I've view the video and wonder why you both with these videos.
Opening claim is that the bible is a lie! If that is true why then is the author of the video continuing.
He talkes about Elohim being a plural noun, which it is, so what. He then refers to other ancient gods and beliefs that are supposed to have influenced the Israelites in writing the old Testament.
Strangely he presents no evidence of where this can be seen in the old Testament.
A bold claim backed up by nothing. Yet if one reads the old Testament again and again there are prophets from God denouncing the mixing of other gods with the worship of God.
The nation of Israel and the tribe of Judah where exiled fro there land by God because of there idolatry.

If you are going to continue to watch videos like the one you posted, please also start reading and watching videos with Christian content.
Sites like reasonable faith, coldcasechristianity, winteryknight, answersingenesis and books like the Case for Christ.Nothing but the truth, why 66 to name a few booksthat will strengthen your faith.

Here is a question for you.
Jesus said ' I am the way, the truth and the life.john14:6. Is Jesus telling the truth or as that video says is he lieing?

I watch a lot of Christian content
I grew up in a country with most of the population being orthodox Christian by default but recently I truly developed interest in faith, not just cause Im told to believe
I felt the need to follow Christ hrist and to believe
The "problem" with that is that it was recent and I am confused
Think of the kid who is just starting to read or write or walk
Not the best comparison
I only know the basics and I am bombarded with this theories and doubts, normal I'd say on the path towards the faith
I feel judged for simply wanting help to truly understand it
I can't just follow what I see because I see many things just like this
Even Bible has many different interpretations
I'm trying to understand

Hi God's Soul

Many videos and books have good intentions, but are not always good for us as many can be misleading and actually can come against scripture as there are many false teachers out there that will bring confusion to an unlearned mind as they love to twist the word of God. It's best to stick with studying the scriptures that have already been written for our learning. Before studying pray first and ask the Holy Spirit teach you directly or through those who have the anointing of the Holy Spirit as we test the spirits that are teaching us whether they are the spirit of error or the Spirit of truth. I always ask those who are yet very young in the word to first read the book of John as this will teach you about our relationship with Christ. Then read the book of Acts as this will teach you about the anointing and indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

1John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

1John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1John 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Never give up asking questions as none of us knows everything, but together we can learn from one another.

Thank you for replying.

In some ways it is very simple.
Is Christianity true?
If it is then videos like the one you posted are false.
If Christianity is not true, what belief system are you going to follow?

Do investigate Christianity, there is nothing wrong with having g questions or doubts about Christianity.

I asked a question. Was Jesus telling the truth or like the video says was he lying.
You have to determine the answer, but your answer will affect your behaviour for if Jesus is telling the truth, those videos are then lying and should not be watched.

It's your choice.

I'm on a path of reading the Bible myself, though I do have doubts I will not be able to understand it myself
I see videos as in a way already explained thing, not meaning I shouldn't study it myself but kind of like a class so I can be knowledgeable to look into it myself later
Problem is many are astray teaching sure
I also often stumble upon videos like this

Try listening to some actual Bible scholars such as these:

This one has a bit of a long into:

Which brings us to the mark of the beast

You do well to fear the beast and his mark.

People will find themselves confronted with a sort of Catch 22, so to speak. If they
unify with the Beast, they'll be safe from execution and permitted the advantages
of commerce but end up cooked in sulfur. If they unify with God and His son Jesus,
they'll be safe from the sulfur but end up executed and prevented from shopping
for even the barest of necessities. (Rev 14:9-12 & Rev 13:15-17)

Yeah, I'm very terrified of being deceived though, trying to speculate of what might be the mark
It is said that we'll know but actually no, it's said that many will not understand

Well, we know it won't be a cross since no unbelievers would accept that. Everything Gnosticism teaches is false, so don't worry about what they about the mark of the beast or God. True believers will not be deceived by the mark.

That is actually a good argument
Also I heard that it will be active over the course of seven years and then will be rapture, if I'm not wrong
Cross was here for a long time and no rapture since that so can't be that

Far too much time is spent debating the second coming, when we need to be concentrating on living for Jesus.
We Don need to stress about his coming, he will come when the time is right, we just have to carry on living for him.

As John 10 says He knows who his sheep are and no one can snatch us out of his hand.
Yes the period before his coming will be dreadful and we will need to make every effort to follow Jesus

I suggest that you read the gospel of John. The God of the Bible is the one true God and Jesus is his son and our savior.
The mark of the beast will be a way to conduct business. No one can buy or sell without it.
Perhaps when you go to buy something instead of swiping your card you will swipe your hand and pay for your purchase.
To take the mark is to worship the Antichrist.
Those who don't take it will be beheaded, you will know what it is when that happens.
Pray that there is a rapture and that Christians will be taken to be with Jesus before this happens.
Gnosticism is a false religion and you should stay away from it.
Trust Jesus and read the Bible. When I have doubts I read the New Testament and it gives me faith
