Peace to you, Nick:

Actually, this was part of the topic. Perhaps you didn't have the opportunity to read all the posts. However, if you would like to start a new thread on this topic alone, I would be more than happy to explain why I worded it that way. However, in the end, both faith believes He is alive and will return.

With peace,
Hana
Both faiths do believe He is alive and will return, but only the Christian faith believes that He died. This is important as He could not have paid for all our sins if He had not suffered death for all of us. That alone makes the Muslim faith redundant.

This is actually a slight tangent on the topic. The OP was commenting about how a man was a Christian and converted to Islam (of which I am aware you have done too). The OP was asking Christians on their opinions.
The discussion seems to have turned into one of Christianity vs Islam in general. If we could bring the discussion back to the OP directly it would be cool. But TBH I'm not too bothered about this tangent, as long as it stays civil.

Exactly.

Interestingly, the reasons he gives for "leaving" the Christian faith are some of the very reasons I am a Christian. Hummm :chin How does one leave something they claim in their heart and turn those foundations around for something far less substantive in it's origin? Unless, they never really understood it, or believed it to begin with.

Here is another video. Same guy, but listen to what he says hear about 9/11. Also he claims to have accepted Islam in 1998, prior to 9/11, but the original video was posted in 2008. In fact I can't find a video among the many he has posted prior to 2008. I can't tell how old he is, but let's say he's in his later 20's from the looks of him. Based on what he claims, he's been a Muslim for 13 years and prior to that he was a Christian Youth Minister. even if he is 30 years old that would have made him 17 at the time he was a Youth Minister. In other videos he talks about converting when he was in college and says that when he was in High School he was a none religious party animal.

I lived in a block of flats with Muslims for 15 years and have seen many Christians embracing Islam.
Don't know if this is ON topic-or off.
