It's a way to manulipulate people and try to make them fearful. They just laugh or make a big deal out of something that is not a big deal to make us feel stupid or afraid. They also gaslight a lot. Not worth the arguments. They just go in circles.I’ve noticed this sort of thing with unbelievers dealing with Christianity…
Verses taken out of context usually with a theme of Christianity encouraging docility and unquestioning obedience.
Honestly? It is what it is. Scripture warns about the world perceiving the gospel as foolishness so I suppose it is to be expected.
