Maybe where you are in Florida, but the rest of Florida is a different story.

Don't forget, I live here as well. So, maybe in your little 55+ community all is well, and maybe other pockets in small counties, say Hardee county, but counties like Orange, Hillsborough, even my county of Polk is getting hit hard.

Yes, it is true.
Certain areas are hit hard and others are not.
the hospital south of me is packed day and night.
But north of us, my wife had to go to the hospital Saturday night, she had a serious diverticulitis attack, and there was no waiting at all.
I'm talking the Ocala area and west.

So if where you live, you can't breathe any fresh air without getting sick, then I'm sorry to hear that.
I do hope it gets better.
But where I am, I go out almost everyday and don't worry about it.
What good is worry?
God's in control.

No, I just wanted to be sure that people knew that Florida is not okay.

I'm not living in fear, I am vaccinated, wear a mask and take precautions. I have been to theme parks, etc.

What I do have is a respect for the virus. Not in the same way one would respect a person, but I know what it can do as I have seen it first hand. So, I do what I can to mitigate my chances of contracting it.

That seems a bit controlling. Not to mention not everyone would turn the other cheek. Some might return evil for evil and a brawl would ensue. Non of that sounds very loving IMHO.

Hmmm. Was the life of Moses in danger when God told him to go to Egypt? Did God keep His people safe during that pandemic?
What about Joshua? Or David? Do you honestly think that God puts us in a bubble where our life couldn’t be put in danger?

For some, maybe it’s about faith and not fear.

Your looking at a single point in time. When you look across time, we’re all going to have our day. It’s too late to vaccinate our way out of the pandemic. We missed that window a long time ago. Herd immunity will occur with or without the vaccine. Personally, I prefer with the vaccine but that’s my preference and I cannot force my preference on others.

First, God wouldn’t tempt one to sin.
It is not a sin to refuse the vaccine anymore than it’s a sin to accept the vaccine.

There is a world of difference between one of the most contagious pathogens that the world have ever seen - covid - and these other viruses.

How is the answer not obvious? The much better solution is to get vaccinated! There is no debate about this, assuming we are committed to dealing with reality, as contrasted with conspiracy theories and false information.

Your position on this is not helpful. While it is indeed true that early treatment is better than none or late treatment, to promote early treatment as an alternative to the much better option of the vaccine only encourages the irrational and profoundly harmful belief that refusing the vaccine is a "reasonable" course of action.
 
curious ,if drew would help me knowing I am covid positive by bringing me food and needs .

is that not what God calls us to do with the sick ?

my pastor has offered.no health care doctor or the state has asked or creates a system where the quarenteed can fully isolate.you can't order groceries via shipt or equivalent unless its over 30 bucks .

yet my pastor did. that is more then enough to respect him.since telling him I have it ,he has texted me daily . he helped others . I told him I wasn't going to church until I knew I was clear .

As a whole, the state is literally drowning in Covid!

The coronavirus is running rampant in Florida as case numbers climb to an all-time high and hospitals start to fill up. On Sunday, approximately 1 in 4 hospital beds in the state had a COVID-19 patient in it.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 23,903 new coronavirus cases in Florida on Friday, the state's highest single-day total since the start of the pandemic.

Two days later, numbers from hospitals reporting to the Department of Health and Human Services showed Florida's inpatient beds at more than 83% occupancy. As of Sunday, 13,793 coronavirus patients accounted for 24% of the state's inpatient beds.

Florida has become the new epicenter of the country's coronavirus pandemic as the highly contagious delta variant triggers a surge in cases nationwide.

COVID-19 patients currently occupy 19% of ICU beds in the United States; in Florida, it's almost 44%. And only about 11% of the state's ICU beds are available, for the time being, compared with 26% nationwide.

Florida has also seen a rise in cases among children with at least 135 of them hospitalized with COVID-19, as NPR previously reported.

You don't like the statement. I believe it is true.

You are correct your posts reveal your motivations. You want to force the vaccine on those who don't want to take it. All your posts support this.

If you don't want to force it on us, then forget it. Get your vaccine and mask and be happy.

That doesn't surprise me.

Romans 14 does apply. It is nt just vegetables He is speaking of, it is anything which goes into the body. There's principles involved here that you are choosing to ignore.

But if you want to be the vaccine poster child, then more power to you. I'm not using my vaccine so you can have it, ok? Then you can vaccinate twice to show your spirit to the team! :hysterical

How come you don't want to look at this issue through a spiritual eye, or see what the word of God says? That's very odd for a Christian.

This is not been proven to be an accurate statement and making such a statement could turn out to be a dangerous path. In fact, by your own admission that the vaccine is not 100% effective, what I say above is true.

And there are ways to do this without subjecting one's self to a vaccine that could be potentially dangerous since it has not been proven totally safe yet.
